A nice and clean hotel. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. I was grateful for the help off the staff to which train and metro we should take when we arrived to Paris. It was our first trip. So it was very helpful to got everything written down and it was easy to arrive and find the hotel.
“Satisfactory for an adequate stay in Paris”

The hotel itself has all you would need. As a popular hotel chain in Paris, the hotel itself comes equipped with everything you’d be looking for on the surface. Downsides: you have to pay for breakfast, which many travelers are looking for to be complimentary. The rooms themselves are dated and the beds are very firm, so not the most comfortable for those used to a softer mattress at home. I noticed stains on the towels and lampshades, which isn’t the end of the world but reinforces the “dated” look. There were some flies in our room because our window didn’t close all the way. Again, not the worst thing in the world, but was sometimes an inconvenience. Best thing about the hotel is it’s location. Easy access to Place d’Italie and the 5, 6, and 7 metro lines.
Too much cigarette smoke.

We liked breakfast. The bathroom didn’t drain well and smoke was all over the hotel.

The lady at the reception was strongly smelling of perspiration when I did my check-in in the evening. Not what you want after a long day of work. Not the standard I am expecting from the accor group as a platinium member...
