Terrible seedy location, filthy bedroom and rude staff

Customer review rating 0.5/5

Arrived late at night to what seemed like a very seedy area with loads of men hanging around entrance. Massive queue at ground floor reception which turned out to be for Ibis budget. Some sigh posting needed to direct Ibis guests to first floor. Rude reception staff and although reception area seemed nice enough the room we were allocated was awful. Tiny room with dirty stained walls I have never stayed anyone so horrid.

Very comfortable, I loved the view

I came after booking in another website which didn’t confirm my booking after I came thy told me about the situation and gave me immediately another room with earlier check in. So kind of the guy in the Reception. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel again

I had a very late check-in at around 23pm but at the hotel the room i was given was not made. I told the receptionist who was very sorry about that and gave me another one. He also gave me a drink voucher to be used in the bar. The next day, i asked for a late checkout 15pm and i was billed an extra 20 pounds which i think was not fair. Apart from that, the room was cleaned, beautiful, airconditioned. Mattress very comfortable.

worst ever, I want a refund!

I asked please to contact me because, during the whole staying (except for saturday) the were really strong noises from above and I could not sleep! I got not even a message in return... They have no customer care whatsoever!

On a budget ok, but not if you paid a bit of a premium

Their were two options of either a hostile or a bit a of a premium since I was staying a day. The room was a bit of disappointment for what I was accustomed for. The breakfast was a great addition and the view was a bit ok. The good thing is that the train station was close by but location was a bit risky having thought since it was at the financial district.
