Two nights at the Hotel Regina in Biarritz: extremely pleasant, particulartly the rooms facing the ocean with a wonderfull view; personnel and services of high standard. a minor point: breakfast could be improved ( no scrambled eggs, !)

Charming 19th century hotel that has been nicely redecorated. Room overlooking the sea gives spectacular views. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are nice and well equipped.

I organised a birthday dinner party for 15 guests on 2-days notice at the Régina Anglet. The staff organised seating for us in the lobby for drinks before dinner and we all really enjoyed the band that was playing (Keep Smiling). I would say that the wait staff could have come around a little or often as I mad about 4 trips to the bar for menus, extra glasses etc. I worked out a set menu at the restaurant for my guests and everyone was very impressed with the food, service and spacious environment. It was also not too noisy, which was pleasant. That was also true in the lobby. It was nice of the staff to add a candle to my husband's dessert. I had not requested it but it was kind and appreciated. On the whole, our server Ornella took good care of our group and was very friendly and efficient.

The whole experience was delightful, & the staff were charming and polite. Our only disappointment was on the first night in the restaurant where we had made a reservation 2-3 days before, we were shown to a table in the corner of the room ( where you have the scrambled eggs at Breakfast) even though we were the first into the restaurant that evening. We were very surprised, especially as I am a platinum member, & when we have been with you on other occasions, you have always found us a well positioned table. The rest of our stay was excellent & we look forward to the next time we can come and stay with you

We stayed at the hotel as a stopover in Biarritz on our way to Spain. The weather was stormy and the hotel was a welcome relief from the long drive. The suite was amazing, the restaurant was excellent and overall the staff and surroundings of the hotel could not have made it a more pleasurable experience. We also had a 7 month old baby with us and the hotel provided all necessary additional equipment we needed. Top notch and we will definitely be returning!

Our room was small but beautiful. My dinner was great, my husband’s was mediocre at best. It happened to be pouring rain during our stay. The fact he had to bring the umbrella to the front desk at check out or get charged, it left me with a poor taste.

We very much liked your hotel and all the staff who work at the hotel. The room was very nice, with a good sea and lighthouse view. The dinner in your restaurant was very good and we dined in on all 5hree nights we stayed with you. Breakfast was generally satisfactory, although at times the number of people using the restaurant was too many for the buffet on offer, with particularly shortages of cooked food available. Overall a very good experience.

We were looking forward to a four night stay at the La Regina (full service hotel) to conclude our week of travel in France and explore the Basque region. We were hoping to do our laundry but unfortunately, the cost of laundry service was prohibitive. How could it be that the cost to launder t-shirts/underwear was 20E PER PIECE? Is each piece washed individually? It would be cheaper to buy new than do laundry. We were told by staff that it was outside service but seems like opportunity for hotel to negotiate with vendor to improve customer service.

Everything other than the dining experience was fine. Dinner was not very good and the wait staff was slow and disinterested. They made several mistakes with our orders, neglected to bring something I asked for three times, and did not seem to care. I would not eat there again!

My wife and I enjoyed very much our stay. The room was very comfortable, the staff was courteous and helpfu. The restaurant was very good. There was limited choice for food in the lounge.

Our experience was very good but we were let down a little by a flicking light in our room all night which wasn’t able to be fixed and we had to ask again twice the next day for it to be sorted out. We were also disappointed that the chef flatly refused to make a hot meal for our one year old son before 7:30pm even something very simple like a pasta dish
