Budget Priced Hotel with Comfortable Rooms

My wife and I, both senior citizens called the hotel directly and booked a room. The operator on the phone was a very nice gentleman and quickly assisted us with our reservations. Our check-in was quick and easy. There is no bell-boy service. Our room was quite comfortable with a good Northerly view. The room was clean and the air-conditioning worked very nicely. The toilet was quite clean and well-maintained. Everything in there worked. The towel rack was broken, but we called and the management fixed it right away. One evening, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant (M Restaurant). The hostess who looked after us was a gracious young lady, full of local information. The service was rather quick and the food was scrumptious. All in all, we had a very comfortable stay at the hotel.

Good stay

Easy check-in/check-out. Good parking rates. Woolworths/BWS/fast-food chains were just across the road which was convenient. About a 15-20min walk to Parra centre (<5min drive) and nice walk along the river and park to get there. The halls were a bit dated/tired but the room was ok.

Stay was ok, customer service was poor

I stayed here for two days business trip. I was charged for ~AUD 406 for those two days stay + parking and breakfast. What I realized when I got home was there was another charge of AUD14,25 which I assumed was a mistake. So called the front desk on Saturday 12/11 to report it and she promised that it’ll be reversed in 5 business days max. However, a week has gone by and it has not been reversed. Called them again in Monday 21/11 and was promised that he’ll get back to me to update on this matter. Again, this was a false promise. I called the front desk again today but she rudely disconnected my call because there was another customer in front of her. Eventually she picked up my call and promised to call me back once she’s finished with the other customer. Still waiting for the refund and the call back

The stay was short and comfortable. There was a couple of issues such as one whole side of curtains did not open, leaking tap in bathroom sink and the shower body wash was empty which I didn’t know until I was in the shower. I told reception when we left.
