« Corner room with poor air condition and flying cockroaches in the room. »

Mercure Parramatta in Sydney give us the Corner room with poor air condition and flying cockroaches in the room. Moreover, my bed reading lamps were not working on the first evening when I checked and when I called the reception didn't answer the phone. I went myself at the reception and informed them about the problem they sent a staff member called "Tara" after an hour roughly and Tara said they will be able to fix it by tomorrow and she said its OK for tonight. How come she can say its OK when its not fixed and that means customer has to deal with the problem for that amount of money I have paid to book this hotel. At the end during our whole stay there for 4 nights and 5 days the bed reading lights not fixed at all and room always have small flying cockroaches. What a poor customer service and I have paid lot of money for this booking. Only give 3/10. Never recommend to any person, friends and family members in future.

Check in was very average ,my daughter had health issues that I emailed the day before and also I rang you to advise of these issues but on arrival no attempt was made to help try to get us into our room early. I understand you were busy but I was desperate to have my daughter in her room to lie down. No attempt was made by staff to approach us , I had to go up 3 times to ask if our room was ready, then when it was ready no one told me, again I had to go to the desk myself. On Monday morning a staff member knocked on my door at 9am to see what time we were checking out, cannot get us in our room but can make sure we leave early Breakfast issues ,only one section of toasters were working, the pancake machine not working. I tried to get change for the laundry to be told sorry we have no change can you do it later, no sorry I have to get my daughter to the drs. I was once an Accor member but due to me not using it I did not renew my subscription but obviously after the service I received you only go out of your way for Accor members. Very disappointed in your motel ,we have stayed many times over the years but will think twice in the future . One positive the cleaning staff were fantastic and nothing was a problem for them ,we stayed on the 3rd floor.

Stayed for one night to attend a football game. The room was okay a little tired and had lots of stains on the carpet. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were terrible. Just another thing there was no welcome pack/brochure/information that you normally find in a hotel that tells you about the hotel, local attractions etc.

Reception team are all very welcoming and polite, was an issue with my booking from Bookings.com bit was quickly resolved. The room was extremely clean and we were able to relax at the pool bar with a lovely cold drink and relax before our function.

Great room - very clean & stylish, well-priced room service & delicious food. My room was opposite the lifts on level 4 so somewhat noisy at times (especially in the morning).

Staff were fantastic in every area. I received drink vouchers for my birthday as well :-) Polite, Solved all issues efficiently, Food was fantastic, Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was clean. I parked across the road to avoid the car park fee.

The room was very comfortable. Car park access was terrible - having to navigate a very tight entry area is very off putting. I would not choose to stay again simply because of this. And we were charged $15 a day for the privilege of parking. It rained all weekend and we had to wade through ankle deep water to get to our car. Car park needs better drainage.
