Disaster: broken air-con + hospital

We booked Suite Jr, the second most expensive room rate. At the reception at 6pm on 04/01/2022, there was only 1 receptionist to arrange check in and he took more than 10min to finalise other guest check in. I had to ask help for 2 other staff. Around 9pm we noticed the air-con was not cooling down as my friend started feeling dizzy and having nausea due to the elevated temperature and lack of air circulation. The reception staff moved us to another room with other type of view (we chose Ibirapuera Park view) and said all rooms were occupied. For us the view was the most important as we have booked that suit weeks in advance. As my friend’s conditions haven’t improved even after taking medication, I took him to HCor Hospital, he was medicated and private session was paid (both of us are Brazilian , live in other countries and didn’t purchase international travel insurance ). Around 1:30am of 04th June we came back from hospital, went to hotel reception and gave them an update. Next day during the check out we explained what happened again and the only thing we heard back was “sorry for the inconvenience. hope you are feeling better now”. Sincerely, we expected more from your reception and management teams: 1) if the air-con was broken and has been fixed before our check in (yes, the receptionist told us the room was unavailable even in New Year’s Eve due to this problem and was fixed only 1 day before our check in), ensure it is working properly when you set the room for a customer. 2) Kindness. No staff helped us to move to another room. They verified the air-con and I had to get the keys downstairs and move around the luggage at my own as my friend was not ok to help me. 3) Courtesy. Nothing was offered to compensate the bad experience. Probably they didn’t charge the 2 bottles of water only, but we paid the car parking as per standard. No apologies, no emails, no calls. We have heard nothing from the hotel.

Overall a disappointment of a stay, on arrival it seemed like a nice hotel but over the course of the 3 days a number of things happened which were not fixed. Would not stay here again.

We were 2 out 3 days without air conditioning cause they had an issue. But they will reimburse these days so that was a plus. The service in the breakfast is really slow, it takes long time to get what you ordered but the options in the buffet were good so if you want to avoid losing time just go there and not order. The bathroom is small.

Always feel at home here! This time disappointed with “Guest Connection” services (one time took me about 20min for someone to puck up my call). Also I still haven’t receibed in my mailbox the invoice for the extras (R$120,00) as promissed during check out.

Perfect stay for my partner’s birthday!

I wanted to have a special stay for my partner’s birthday. I requested on WhatsApp if they could write a romantic letter, for him to read as soon as he gets into the room. And for my surprise, when we got there, there was a great dessert and the letter I requested. The service was amazing since we arrived - the receptionist gave us 2 vouchers for drinks because the room was not ready yet and we had to wait some minutes. Amazing customer service!

Overpriced for the experience it provides

I booked a executive suite and it was worse than a lower level suite, no smart tv, smaller configuration and the ac made me very sick. I transferred the next day to a simpler suite and had a better experience but still not to the standard I expect from the Pullman brand. I often stay in Accor hotels and that's the first time is not up to standards.

The room and hotel decor is great, great location and the things offer are great too. Cleanliness was well handled. The Air conditioner takes hours to cool off and the fan made a lot of noise, so maybe change the unit filter. I asked a worker about cleaning the pool and he said only once a day and didn’t clean it. Thats wrong. If the pool has bugs and i ask to clean it, act, pretend you care and cleaning it, it doesn’t take long. Thats wrong. During check in, no one said any of the time or location of the pool, spa, restaurant or basically anything. Just charge me nearly double my stay to put on hold, which is wrong, shouldn’t be more than 300 dollars; never gave me any information about the hotel. In fact, i had to come down the following day and ask. This is wrong. You guys had multiple corporate groups and i felt that you dismissed me because of them. This is wrong. I shouldn’t feel like less even if they spend more money.

great room with amazing accommodations, enjoyed all the facilities and if I can only leave one item for improvement it would be the guest service - I contacted through the whatsapp number and took more than I expected to receive a response, what made me give up from ordering. other than this, no complaints, I love the gym facilities and breakfast never disappoints.

Super nice bed and fantastic view. But noises from the apartment above woke me up in the middle of the night (4:30 in the morning). When I asked to change bedrooms, they said to prepare my bags that they would do it during the day. When I came back in the evening, they didn’t change the room and wouldn’t do it. It’s ok if they don’t have available rooms, but don’t promise things that are not going to be fulfilled.

Good one week stay at the Pullman Ibirapuera. This is my go to hotel in São Paulo. The housekeeping, desk, and restaurant teams are good especially. My only critique is that I had to continually ask for the direct discount on my food that was connected to my booking. I should have to continually ask for this in my opinion. I also asked for receipts to be emailed, but unfotunnltely never received them. Not a big deal though.

This hotel is very dear to me. Started staying a few years ago at the beginning of an important acquisition. Immediately looked after by the team. Wonderful workers, high standard rooms, great gym. Reception team could not do enough for you. And the best breakfast in Brasil, lovely to take a good long café de manhã there and prepare for the day!

Great hotel, nice infrastructure, very clean, excellent location nearby ibirapuera and MAC SP, free motocycles, nice lunch basket for lunch in the the park, excellent breakfast, and fair pricing. A great option for good family weekend and family time.

I've stayed in this hotel numerous times before and the hotel itself did not disappoint. Good amenities, large size gym, strong wifi signal, very clean, close to good restaurants. All in all very comfortable and welcoming. The one gripe I have during my last trip is that I was charged 1 extra day of parking because I decided to utilize my late-check out benefit. Not complaining about the cost or the poor parking service. It's the fact that I was not informed well in advance of this pending charge. Had I known, I would've understood and moved on. In any case, this was very disappointing and I hope hotel management would be so kind as to warn guests in advance of any potential surprising charges they may incur.

The hotel is nice and modern. I've stayed several times before and enjoyed it. My issue on this stay is that housekeeping didn't clean my room even though I asked for it to be cleaned twice. I was also initially placed in a room reserved for flight attendants as there was no mini bar. Fortunately one of the members of the reception staff changed me to a better room. It's a nice property, I just dont think that I should have to manage by stay as much. Things like a good, clean room should be automatic.
