I was surprised there are still hotels without shower/toilet in the room...

bit awkward gettin to hotel late in pouring rain with no room code as you cant get in the gate in carpark.Mainly due to online check in system not working on windows 7 or windows 10 after several goes the week before.Customer services dont help they just say it works for them !

The bedrooms were clean and the bedding fresh. The toilets were not clean after heavy usage from other patrons. The woman on reception was friendly.

Very poor. Booked 2 rooms. One room had 5 cockroaches in. Both rooms were very run down and smelt of smoke. Hotel was noisy almost all night. The worst hotel accommodation we have ever stayed in and we will not use F1 again.

My stay was excellent value for money, the bed was very comfortable and the toilets and showers clean and functional. I would definitely stay again. My only criticism would be the check-in. I arrived late at night after getting off the ferry in Dieppe then driving to Rouen. I had paid online for my room. On arrival, I was asked to pay 26 cents tax. I have no problem with this, but why is it not included in the online payment? I tried to pay by card at the hotel but was told this is not possible. Why? I had had no Euros (or cents) in my wallet. I had to go and scramble around in my car, trying to find 26 cents in change. fortunately I was able to find enough loose change. What would have happened if I had not been able to find this? Would I have had to drive around an unfamiliar city in the middle of the night, trying to find a cash machine so that I could pay 26 cents and go to bed? I am sure you would agree this is a weakness in your systems and needs addressed.

The beds were unclean. Holes in the bedcover. Floor unclean. The whole place stank of stale cigarettes. My wife and daughter were kept awake by the nocturnal activities of an amorous couple and the marijuana smoking guests in the jungle courtyard.

Good experience. We arrived very late - 1am - after a delayed ferry. The member of staff was very helpful and we were able to check in quickly. The room was clean, although the rest of the hotel, toilets, showers, communal areas were looking a little tired.
