Newly renovated room (ok, smelled still because of fresh paint), staff very friendly in communication and at breakfast. I've already been several times in this hotel, always fine. If one comes late, there are unfortunately not enough parking spaces

Booked a 3 person room and only bed sheets and pillow for two. Complained next morning but the reception person told there's nothing he can do.

Located three s bahn stops from the Köln railway station and still within the 1b tarrif zone this is well situated for those with dogs and a car that want to visit Köln. Parking is free and sometimes pets are free. It depends on who checks you in. The cost of the rail fair is a lot less than the cost of parking car and the cost of a pet at a city centre hotel. It's a typical ibis budget. Comfortable and clean and is used by a lot of workers so the car park can get a little full during weekdays. Our only compliant is that we tried the online check-in which did not complete correctly and the hotel put a pre authorisation of over €300 on our card which is still there even though we paid the hotel costs in full when we arrived. This has reduced our spending money on our holiday. Even after 3 days of the hotel being aware of this the authorisation is still there.
