We have two irons at the hotel. both of them were not working at the same time. We have purchased a new one. It has kept in our reception to have better control. Not very happy. We checked in by 10.45pm. We found toilet exhaust fan was broken and we got very bad smell (sewage) was coming out. We reported that and we were given another room. Why this was not reported by cleaner?? Now room was ok but next day we found high moisture level on the floor (near window) seems from coming bellow from tiles.

The suppliers normally supplies the cover has been bankrupted. « Slept on the towel »

The last time the room was clean and great value for someone looking to crash for the night. This time the quilt and sheet had suspicions stains forcing me to sleep on a towel. Did a phone reservation which is bad I think I have 4 profiles because my name keeps getting spelt wrong. When informed I was told its ok will just relate a new one

« Safe and secure stay. »

It was just an overnight stay after briefly visiting our friends and shopping in Sydney before returning to ACT the next day. It is very convenient in terms of booking, checking in and entry into the premises during After Hours. In a short distance a variety of eateries are located and the Dan Murphy's is very close for the last minute drinks. In short it is the location that makes it convenient for us.

« satisfied but rooms were dirty. »

The service was fine, and the staff were pleasant. The rooms were very dirty ( under the beds, along the walls, the bathroom smelt awful and the floors were drenched wet. Along with the small fridge smelling, and the communal microwave being dirty also. ) The vending machines are also poor and could use maintenance, as one would not accept my card for an unknown reason, and another did not return coins.

« Ok but failed to excite »

I stay here often but the last year has seen a decline in standards and detail. I must say that the cleanliness has improved a little but also staff seem lacklustre ion their performance. I had no TV remote in my room and upon telling the receptionist was informed that they are short of remotes but was promised one to be dropped in my room whilst I was out. Sadly, when I arrived back (and reception was closed) no remote. Maybe I need to recognise that its a cheap motel, and to set my standards lower......or, maybe the base promises (TV) should be expected. The previous manager was so intent and focussed on customer service. Anyway......

Rooms are as expected and fine for 1 person. Towels, soap provided. Bed comfortable. Suits me to stay there when I am working late and starting early the next day. Food available near by.

« Price reflected the room fairly. »

Overall satifaction was ok however I a little disappointed that the top bunk in the room I was in had such a poor excuse for a mattress. I do wish each room was fitted with a microwave aswell, not just for convenience, but hygiene.
