Our reservation was for two nights. We were meeting our daughter and her family. The front desk arranged for us to have the rooms next to each other, which was perfect. Our room was lovely. We slept well in our comfortable bed. The next morning we left our room in the morning, leaving our room tag on the Blue side, indicating that we needed housekeeping. Nothing. No one came. At around 4 pm we found a housekeeper and requested fresh towels. We took our wet towels to the hall and she gave us fresh towels. Our waste baskets were full. There was no replacement for the paper cups or Kerrigan pods or cream. On Sunday night my daughter asked about breakfast arrangements, we were told there was no food available on Mondays. No coffee either. Our weekend was wonderful. Our room was comfortable. But I’m not sure I would say this was a good experience at the Sofitel.

For me Philadelphia has always been about the experience - great dining, shopping, nostalgia. I wanted to think my stay at a Sofitel would have been equally as nice. At that high price for a daily rate, the past three days were not worth it. I will reconsider staying elsewhere next time I visit center city. Overall this hotel for luxury brand was subpar.

We got married in Philadelphia on 10.17.21. This hotel was one of two chosen for our wedding guests. We figured we'd pick one "fancy" hotel and one no frills hotel. You would not have been able to tell that this was the "fancy" option. Service was mediocre at best. The front door gentleman was lovely! (Honestly, he may be the best thing this hotel has going for itself). The valet is slow. The concierge did not listen well, constant repeating on our end and mishearing on the hotel's part. We really wanted ourselves and our guests to get an upscale experience. They did not. Instead, we got limited amenities and overpriced rooms and parking. Lastly, the hotel did absolutely nothing to celebrate our nuptials. Not one bottle of champagne or chocolate covered strawberry. We didn't get so much as a "Congratulations!" If we had to do it all over again, we'd 100% choose another property. It's unfortunate that what should've been an amazing stay was merely a stay at a 1/2 decent Marriott.

My firm organized a room block and the renting of the Versailles room, the room next door for meals, and an additional breakout room. The staff was super attentive and accommodating and matched our agenda perfectly in terms of breakfast, breaks, and lunch. Roslyn was so responsive in the weeks leading up to our event and helped us organize a perfect two days of meetings! The rooms were beautiful and spacious and they even included a suite in our room block at the same rate!

For a nice hotel it was somewhat disappointing and not good value for money. The room was nice (although the view was 'industrial') and the bed comfortable but had this weird feather bed that kept coming loose. Need a nightlight in the bathroom. Over three nights the room was never cleaned and the menu selections in the restaurant/bar were limited and expensive. I have stayed at Sofitels before and this was just ok.

We chose the Sofitel for the guests for our daughter’s wedding. We also had the after-party in the bar. Rooms were beautiful, communication was top notch and the after-party could not have been better.

Overall the stay was pleasant. Valet parking experience was horrible and will likely prevent me from staying at the hotel again if I need to drive (as well as any other hotels that the valet service serves) Beds were not as comfortable as they are in other Sofitels in which I've stayed.

The room was alright. The bed was terrible! We both sunk into the middle and it was very very uncomfortable. I believe that a good hotel should have a comfortable bed and there should be attention to detail when maintaining a hotel room. The bathrobe I had was so worn out it had holes in it in several places. (I took pictures of the robe) The ventilation intake by the front door of the room was covered in noticeable dust and dirt. I probably wouldn't have noticed it were it not so dusty. The wallpaper was peeling back from the walls in a few places. The peeling was small but noticeable. The bed, well as I said was pretty bad. I was very happy with the location which I am sure has been favorably reviewed in the past. I do not submit surveys but felt it important enough this time because you could have a MUCH better hotel if some attenention was paid to small details.

Gere fir 4 nights (2 on our own and 2 with a tour). Typically when we spend this kind of money for a hotel there are amenities not here. 1) No fridge or microwave 2) No shelving or place to put toiletries in bathroom. Nobody to help with a taxi Otherwise everything was lovely

Everyone we encountered was very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. We had a large wedding block of rooms as well as our own rooms at the Sofitel. The hotel was very clean, rooms were quiet, and every staff member we came in contact with went the extra mile for us! We would absolutely stay here again!

We love the Sofitel Philadelphia. The staff make every trip to Philadelphia enjoyable. The rooms are great and the accoutrements are fantastic! The location is perfect. You are within walking distance to restaurants, museums, theaters, and the Kimmel Center.

Exceptional Customer Experience

From check-in to check-out, the customer service we exceeded all expectations. We arrived at 1:30 pm and were able to check in immediately. The front desk staff and manager greeted us. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel served by the charismatic Miguel. Valet parking was very efficient. The hotel is located in a great area for shopping and eating. We are looking forward to a return trip to the Sofitel!
