The most beautiful hotel in Amsterdam! Perfect service with a smile, superb spacious room and at a top location in the middle of the city centre of Amsterdam. Love the restaurants and (cocktail)bar! The a-la-carte breakfast is just wonderful and generous.

We spend a night at The Grand during the lockdown and loved the small break. Everything was so well organised and safe, the staff was extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Enjoyed the dinner in Bistro Oriole and the jummy breakfast. In the evening we had the swimming pool and wellness area for ourselves and in the morning they were very flexible regarding the check-out. We could leave the car and our luggage as long as we wanted and we got a private tour around the historical building too. Located right in the middle of the city but still very quiet, perfect for a short getaway, also with kids!

During our stay - which was an artist residency - we were given the chance to step away from our daily life and focus on creating new ideas. The building inspired us with its heritage and history, and the concierge brought it to life with his 20+ years of experience at the hotel. All staff, without exception, were helpful, friendly and professional. We felt people were genuine and passionate, even in a time where hospitality business goes through an enormous challenge. We greatly appreciate that The Grand has a vision for the future, that it values art, that it allows ideas to grow and culture to blossom within its walls. I stayed at the hotel for a weekend with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. the whole experience was excellent, from the reception to check-out. The dinner at the Bridges was one of the best experiences we've ever had and we plan to go back.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay from the moment of stepping out of our car and being greeted by the staff who welcomed us and took our bags to the attentiveness of all staff and the very comfortable room. We loved the whole experience. We enjoyed high tea with special tea blends prepared by the tea sommelier and later at the bar with fabulous cocktails. We enjoyed breakfast and later in the afternoon enjoyed some time in the gym and the pool and sauna. It was a real treat to have the pleasure of a very late check-out and of course the free room upgrade. We loved it and look forward to come back again ! What a treat !!

We had a great stay last weekend in The Grand, using the pool, the upgrade to a suite, the pre dinner drinks at the bar and the dinner in Bridges were all superb. Breakfast the next morning - these days all a la carte - was of an unparalleled level! We look forward to coming back soon!

The 3 day stay in one of the apartment suites of The Grand was a real bless. Spacious with beautiful canal views; perfect place to work during the day and relax in the evening. Even in the current times, with many regulations, it felt relaxed and safe in The Grand, with caring staff, cozy atmosphere and all facilities still available!
