We stayed here during the Dutch lockdown. The Willem van Oranje suite we were upgraded to was very spacious and nicely decorated (Christmas). The staff was very friendly and punctual. The quality of the room service impeccable.

I had booked a night away from our little boys to celebrate with my wife our anniversary. Although we live in Amsterdam, i wanted to have a special night for a special event and enjoy the moment. The Sofitel Legend team made our stay memorable by first getting a warm welcome upon arrival and then gave us straight away 2 glasses of Champagne while checking-In. I was overwhelmed to get a Appartment Suite Upgrade which made our stay so more special. We had more space to enjoy our fabulous diner in-room (especially given the fact that all restaurants are closing at 17:00 due to the Corona restrictions). Thank you so much for the special attention!

A comfortable place to recover from our trip across the Atlantic

We arrived in Amsterdam at 8 am, exhausted from our red-eye flight from the US, and were scheduled to start our river cruise at 3 pm the next day. The hotel kindly made the room available the entire time as a 1-night stay. Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Food was always available in the room or the restaurants. Staff was super friendly, and provided umbrellas for our walks outside. Even the pool/spa was open (with a reservation) despite the pandemic.
