The front desk staff were very efficient to proceed the check in and while the check-in processing they recommended us some sign seeing places which show us their caring ,and the staff of the restaurant are very friendly and cheerful to welcome all the guest from around the world .They are attentive to observing what the gust need and immediately to respond the guest . Also , I must recommend all the guest to try the French Toast and cappuccino for breakfast which are very tasty and I still cant forget how delicious is it

This time I have booked a Junior Suite on hotel website; I had stayed 3 years ago in the hotel, booked through Amex centurion a Suite and everything was great. At arrival check-in went smoothly, the room was very nice and clean; there was an envelope with a welcome message but it was for the wrong guest. I was not informed buy anyone from the hotel that it is now not possible to reach the hotel with a taxi or uber after 10 pm and not even with the private car for which you charge 75 euro per day parking; even if this is not the hotel's fault it is a very very big problem for a 5 star hotel, especially in the city of Amsterdam for woman and serious 5 star hotel should advise guests and help them. The breakfast experience was something really terrible; I arrive at the breakfast entrance and a lady welcomes me and asks me to wait for the manager to find me a table; I have to wait nearly 10 minutes and 2 other families passed through me and was seated before me; when I finally get called to be seated, I get taken to a table in front of the kitchen door which was not very pleasant. I order a single espresso and after 15 minutes nothing is brought to me; I ask explanations to the various waiters that pass in front of me slamming the kitchen door and for another 5 minutes no one came to me to say anything. at that point I simply left that ridiculous breakfast experience without having eaten or drunk anything. I hope that someone noted that I left without having been able to have breakfast and understand that more than something went wrong in the service. After breakfast I go and do the check-out from my room and it seemed to go smoothly, I was not asked if everything went ok so I did not say anything about the problems that I had experienced. I pay the bill and ask the receptionist to have my car taken out from the very expensive parking service that the hotel offered because I had to reach the airport to take a flight. After 15 minutes that I waited outside the reception with my luggage on me that no-one helped me with the car still did not arrive; at that point I went to the reception again asking another lady about my car and she said that If I had asked for it then it was about to come; another 15 minutes and my car was not there; at that point I raised my voice and in 1 minute my car was outside; I was offered to speak to a manager but I did not have time nor did I want to speak to anyone, I just wanted to leave the hotel and forget about that terrible experience. I am not interested in doing public negative reviews about the hotel, I will just simply choose another hotel for my future stays in Amsterdam. Regards Gianluca P.
