Great location. Room was ok, tea coffee etc not replenished for 2nd day. I felt $27 a day parking when your a guest a bit rude .

The room was very clean and comfortable but did not like the shower over the bath. Our breakfast on Saturday was very disappointing so much so we went elsewhere on Sunday morning.

1st stay in a large hotel since Covid Lockdown a year ago. We have been staying at Novotel Canberra for many many years, with kids our first choice is always Novotel. Hesitant at first, a lot has changed but the experience was altered but good. We had breakfast for the first morning but not what we expected with pricing very expensive even with the Accor discount. We did not eat there again. Disappointed about the early close of the bar as we arrived late on Friday. However, our bar tender for Saturday night pre dinner drinks was exceptional. Please pass on our thanks to him as his service was beyond others that we have experienced. A younger English guy. Tell him we were the couple that had the Furphys and Ginger beer (if he can remember that is) Praise needs to be passed on please.

Fantastic location close to public transport, shopping and great dining.

We enjoyed a brief stay to explore central Canberra, its shopping and dining. The location of Novotel was amazing, as it is a short walk to both the lake and the shopping/eating precincts. The addition of the light rail station directly opposite the hotel opens up the entire northern region of Canberra for further exploration in what was quiet, clean and relaxed comfort!

I have stayed before, it’s always easy and pleasant. Unfortunately this time I wasted one of my membership vouchers because the restaurant closed too early for us and we had to eat elsewhere.

The hotel is beside the interstate bus station and the light rail terminus in the centre of the CBD and one block from City buses so is convenient for transport. There is parking but it is expensive. One bedroom apartments are spacious and well priced. Currently, there is no breakfast package and the al la carte breakfast is similarly priced to up market cafes. The dinner menu is innovative. Lunch is not currently available but there is a wide choice of eateries in the surrounding area. Trees are growing again along Northbourne Ave and within two years there should be a green outlook.

Great location but staff were overworked for thenumber of visitors.

We stayed in the hotel in January and could not fault it. This time was a different experience. Th lack of car parking ended up in an arguemnt with another guest on Sat night. Reception never answered any room calls as they were that busy. We had a naked lady in the restaurant at one stage. Reception were so overworked they never answered calls. We had a breakfast package and was told that they were fully booked. They ended up squeezing us in.

I always stay at the Novotel Canberra for work and it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff are always friendly, courteous and will always go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The rooms are always clean, tidy and well appointed. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is definitely worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to my next visit soon!

Poor check in, Very unhygienic. Coughed openly then hand me 2 bottles of water, with out sanitizing his hands. He also walk to the window beside the 1 i lined up in and had me go to him.

As an Accor member I always choose to stay at the Novotel when I stay in Canberra, it has great location for me and Majority of time the service is great. On my last visit the dinner service was very good, up there with the best I have had from the Novotel Canberra. New Young waiter was very attentive to the patrons needs in the. Restaurant with good customer service skills. As for the breakfast it was obvious that it was a new team as they were struggling, when we check in we are asked what time we would like breakfast. One would think this is to ensure you have the right number of staff on at the right time. As I get the same thing every time for breakfast I tried to order on arrival At 7-13 but I finally got to Order at 7-24. I heard other patrons say they order over 30 mins ago and still not arrived. I did notice that not one waiters stayed on the coffee machine. My Coffee arrived at 7-50 with my Meal arrived at 7-53 No process for taking the orders, if you look at all the successful breakfast restaurants the barista never leaves the post. Customers want a coffee first, which also leads to a extra sale of a extra coffee when the meal comes out - one person a so I suggest some one take control of the breakfast sitting otherwise you will lose more business. Customer ordered a takeaway flat white went to the room and then came back but the coffee was not made. The days of hand written orders is well gone you need to move with the times and update. 2 more people started at 7-30 I think the extra people should start early ... We all understand that we are not in normal times with COVID changing a lot of things. At the end of the day your business people are your bread and butter at the moment so you need to improve the service level and if you get it right you will not have to apologies so many times. The difference between the dinner service to the breakfast service was so different as the evening the team was organised with who was doing what, this is what was missing from the breakfast service. I am sure with some good direction from someone in charge and coaching of the staff you will get on top off things. Look forward to returning again soon.

Rate was great and the room met expectations for my four night stay. I had planned to utilise the pool and gym, however the gym was closed so I was only able to use the pool which was a bit disappointing. Front staff were friendly and although I had pre-checked in due to my late arrival, I did still need to complete COVID documentation on arrival which is reasonable enough. Close to Tram stops and the convenience store nearby sells the travel pass.

I was staying in Novotel Canberra. There was a bit of trouble with internet but the caucasian staff at the reception has solved this issue. However, we had 2 breakfasts at the restaurant and a female asian wait staff working there was very rude. She was the main person who making coffees and making payments. Everytime we asked her about something and she responded with very rude and unkind manner, for example, when we asked to get marshmallows for my kid's babychino, she donesnt even say yes and went to counter with very unhappy face. I stayed several times in this hotel but havnt seen someone like her. I think you guys need to train staff propertly
