« A fine stay in a fine hotel »

The premises are very fine, the food is good, and the staff is very good. There was a misunderstanding with a pick-up from the airport to the hotel upon arrival, the reason provided was not satisfactory (driver waited 15 minutes at the airport and left because he "had to go") despite providing the flight information and the estimated time at which I would be in the arrival hallway. It is not a problem in itself, but arriving at midnight at the airport and finding out the driver "has left" is not a nice surprise.

« All in all it was OK. »

Upon arrival, I was pleased with the service and room. The room was clean and the bed comfy. My issue was the ordeal on my second night, where I was told I had to go down and get it myself when I called asking for milk and coffee. Because the canteen is not halal, I asked for plain rice but was told that no rice is served on Sundays. Some of the staff members were friendly and helpful.

« Very professional. wifi could improve but service 10/10 »

During my stay i needed to get some work done but could not because the wifi is really slow and keeps on kicking you out and then you need to reconnect. service and staff where very friendly would gladly refer this hotel to business colleagues and friends. as for the wifi if you could sort that out your hotel will be the best in the business.

Great people in almost all departments from management down. A pleasure to work with, always. The absence of a latch at the door as added secondary door security (and latches have always been there and even as late as last month) was really a security concern, a downer and outright unacceptable.

« Really enjoyed the stay as usual. »

Check-in process was excellent and room was very good. Everything was working well. The only downside was that no one from reception assisted with carrying my bags to the room. In the past such a service was availed. It would also be nice if a drink could be provided at Check-in before one settles in the room. A small present in the room e.g. chocolate would also be ideal.

Always happy to be recognized as a regular customer. This time however, my room was not booked despite the fact that I had a voucher - never happened before in 17 yrs. Luckily there were available rooms. Same for my colleague Nomfundo Radebe.
