At the 4-star Mercure Hotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you can choose between Standard Rooms with a single bed, two single beds, double bed or queen-size bed. The Privilege Rooms are equipped with a queen-size bed and Junior Suites with a double bed. We have a room available for guests with reduced mobility. All 117 rooms have WIFI access. Two children aged up to 12 may sleep in their parents' room free of charge. Your pet is also welcome (charge of EUR 11/night).

Unfortunately the front desk agent didnt know how to debit points from my account that I was counting on to have a discount. The manager couldnt be contacted.

We checked into a junior suite where the room was definitely smaller than they make it look in the photo. I tried to put the sofa bed down for my teen boys and it seemed way too small. I took a photo of my teens trying to lay on the bed and they were hanging over the sides and I showed the front desk and asked why it’s so small and what they could do. They couldn’t really do anything. Later we left for dinner and I notified them that there were no sheets or blankets or pillows in the room for the sofa bed. I booked the room for 4 so the room should have been stocked for 4. There were also only 3 towels and 2 bathrobes. When we returned from dinner the sofa bed was made up and bigger. Apparently I had not unfolded it all the way and it was big enough. Why didn’t they tell me this in the first place? Breakfast was pretty mediocre. Traditional German breakfast but not much choice even in that. I couldn’t sleep at night because the room was so hot even after I tried turning down the radiators )but you cannot really reach the knobs) and I couldn’t sleep with the window open because it was so noisy outside until 3 am with partying. I left a day early and will not return. There was also no parking!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure GAP it was clean and cosy. It was a little difficult at times to get a drink as the bar was not always staffed but all in all we managed. Breakfast was comprehensive and offered a wide range of options. The quality of the food was very good. The hotel had good amenities and the staff were always polite and efficient.

Front office staff act like robot specially with check in procedure The are totally inexperienced. We came at 14h20 2 persons without reservation checking one 14h30 an other at 14h40 When we asked for our reserved room answer wasccheck in is at 15h point. Front office is understaffed

Immediately upon arrival, they paid 8€ for parking, 3€ tourist tax for each. This is not written on the website, so it is not pleasant. We arrived at 12 o'clock, but they checked us in only at 3 p.m., because the rooms were not ready. Dinner in a restaurant is also expensive at €45 per person. Breakfast is great. The pool is warm and the gym is cute with a view of the mountains. The sauna is spacious and seems new. Closets for clothes did not close. Clean toilets. Beautiful Christmas decorations. Nearby you can walk through the old town and 1.5 km away there are lifts to the mountain.
