I had great experience here. Lovely view of the river. The rooms are solid nicely appointed. Location is absolutely fantastic,right by the Eiffel Tower and other hotspots. The GM Antoine is wonderful, so helpful and friendly, and this trickles down to all the staff it seems

I directly reached Mercure based on a recommendation from a friend, stayed for one day and realized the hotel tried to charge me double of comparatively better holes near Gare de l Est.

During my recent stay from 21/7/22 to 24/7/22 there was No wifi available to visitors. I am a company director and was unable to conduct essential business during the stay at the hotel. The staff were less than helpful and the manager was conveniently off during the period of my staff and is still yet to respond to the email complaint sent by my assistant. The reception staff offered little to no sympathy or help for the situation which left me forced to purchase internet service in a foreign country for the duration of my stay. As a long-time Accor member I would expect a better level of service from this hotel. Accepting that technical problems do happen, there should be some compensation for the inconvenience caused to your members/ visitors. I look forward to your response.

Dear NATHANIEL ALEXANDER H., thank you for sharing your unsatisfaction with us. we did not have wifi at the hotel from18th to 22nd, for a problem in the street, not in our system... that's why we couldn't do anything to fix it. I was effectivelly off on 21st (sunday) but present everyday from 22nd, a shame i did not see you at the front desk to explain you the situation and offer you a solution has we did for other guest (sharing our private conexion for exemple). I'm sorry wifii ruined your Parisien stay, be sure we made whatever we could to solve this problem as fast as possible, but sometimes we have to accept to depend on other people or providers, like in this case. nattyharper Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

no wifi for the whole week and there is nothing they can do about it. Can't check out , can't get a refund , no manager , staff do not want to share hot spot for 2 minutes for urgent email :(. As a Accor member for such a long time this was the most shocking experience for me. Its 2022 and there is no wifi , seriously?

Dear Mrs Harper, We are sorry about Wifi problem, it was an external problem with the connexion in the street ( from thursday to monday morning). I was at the hotel, friday and saturday and available by mail every day if you wanted to talk to me. Regarding refund, i'm not gonna offer you one night for a wifi issue, as you say, we are in 2022, everyody has internet on his cellphone, so you can survive without wifi.
