Hakamix Couples - TripAdvisor review

Three nights at Pullman on Swanston. Great location in city center on Swanston street, one of the main shopping streets in Melbourne. We had superior room, newly renovated comfortable and quiet room, comfortable beds and good A/C. Very friendly and easy going service at reception. I visited also Fitness Room, rather small and limited equipments. Dinner at Eva restaurant was enjoyable. Pullman is near Chinatown, many restaurants and cafés around.

Great position. Modern rooms. Very noisy due to renovations. Bad experience when ordering room service. Over a one wait to then be told that our meal will now be microwaved and then delivered.

Good location, but noisy rooms even on 12th floor

Stayed on 12th floor and drilling was very loud at 7am I complained and three people at front desk said they were supposed to start at 9 but couldn’t do anything about it. No apologies to me.

Indeed, the work wasn't meant to commence until after 9am. We have since advised the foreman of this recurring issues. Wonderful stay were very welcoming friendly staff and the lounge was excellent.The worker’s on the floor above was a bit disturbing but we were out most of the day.

We were upgraded due to my Accor platinum card. The room was very nice room, but unfortunately no view (the same room on a higher floor would have been perfect). The room was a sort of junior suite style, with a huge bathroom, a sitting area and a small bedroom. One really weird thing is that when you turn on the ceiling lighting, you have to have it on (or off) in the sitting area and in the bedroom as well ! This is a problem if you want to do some work in the lounge area and your partner wants to sleep. And no stand up lamp in the lounge area, which would have solved this unusual lighting problem. Apart from that everything was fine - we were made to feel very welcome, all stage were helpful and friendly, the club lounge is of a very good standard. We would probably stay again if we come back to Melbourne
