I’m a gold Accor Member. So I have enjoyed my membership till now. For starters on arrival I was asked to pay for my room upfront, this has never happened before. So i organized my card then wasn’t charged??? The staff member made it seem like he upgraded my room. It was the room I booked, but they ignored my membership preferences and put me right next to the elevator. The bed is hard the pillows are terrible, no extras in the cupboard. Then there is the ‘happy’ hour. I have never been to an Accor club that tells you that you can only drink the spirt of the day or help yourself to beer or wine. I drink none of these. And unless the RSA rules are different in Victoria in complete breach of them. I definitely wouldn’t be returning here.

Went on a relaxing Luxury Escapes break into Melbourne. The Pullman hotel was brilliant in every way. My only regret was the length of my stay. 2 nights was definitely not long enough. We had valet parking and the fantastic club access. The staff were attentive and met our every need. They really looked after us and made us feel welcome. The club access meant we had endless tea, coffee and soft drinks. We stayed in a Premium Deluxe room that was clean and well appointed. The mini bar was very well stocked, the breakfast was either al a carte or buffet style and served in the club lounge. Would we stay again…. Definitely a yes! This hotel is in a fantastic position to explore a fantastic City. 6 stars.

I stayed at this hotel to get away from an ongoing identity theft situation. I told the receptionist to not let anyone into my room as I am being targeted by a known cyber group. Upon returning from the day my phone is left off the hook. I notice it straight away and then I couldn’t call out. I knew someone had tampered with my room. I go to walk down the fire exit to reception and all the fire exit doors are locked which is illegal for starters. I had to call out for help luckily two ladies let me back in. I go to the lift and the manager is about to get out but I go down to G and he goes down to G intercepts me at reception asking if everything was ok. I said sure I’m going to speak to the lady at receptionist I felt uneasy he was about to get out on my level and then followed me down to G. I go to her and the manager stands nervously behind her I said can you check my room phone someone has been in the room she happily agrees before the manager ushers her to the side saying I need to talk to you quickly. I said no she is coming to the room with me. He said no no it’s important it’s about the room. I firmly said no she is coming up to the room as we walk to reception he runs to the fire alarm switchboard and clicks something. I asked the receptionist why did he just do that and she said I don’t know that was really weird. We go up to my level my room number 214 light is switched off. All the other ones are on and it was on 5 mins prior to walking down. I said why is my room light off she said I don’t know that’s really weird. She calls out and the phone is ringing fine. So whatever the manager clicked on the fire switch board turned my light off and made the phone work. She said lock your doors and get some rest but I knew the manager had let someone go in my room I was uneasy so I unplugged everything to check if anything else was wrong. I ended up at 11pm checking out I asked the man why did you go over there and click something he’s response was he was checking the fire alarm I said well if anything happens to me I have your name and know where you work. They refused to give me my $350 back. The money isn’t a problem but the fact the manager was involved with this cyber group or corrupted into letting someone in my room is unacceptable and I did not feel safe. I wanted to make a written complaint a week later in person in which I was told to just email the manager instead and that I had left the room with plugs out everywhere which I had every right too knowing what just happened. The fact the own receptionist said it was really weird twice and had no idea what just happened just confirmed it wasn’t just me that knew something was wrong. I’ve got a video of what unfolded throughout the terrifying process and reported it to the police. Do not stay here!
