We always stay here when flying out- great service, clean, quiet rooms, excellent restaurant/ bar and heaps of options for transport to the airport. Easy walk to the domestic terminal. Car parking and room rates are great.

I always enjoy staying with the Sydney Airport Ibis however I really felt for the staff during my recent stay. The hotel was very full and the hotel was short staffed and so everyone was stretched to the limit. I really appreciated the service by the staff - it was very good even though they were very busy.

Used to love this hotel but boy has it gone backwards Main problem lack of staff I felt sorry for the staff there who were obviously overworked. Food is quite expensive( understandable with rising costs) but quality has gone down. Breakfast was a disaster There was a lot of foreign men there which would have added to the strain but still no excuse .What was an enjoyable happy place no longer exists

I found everything very good. The front desk staff, and the restaurant staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. The only downside was in my room a previous guest had left a used plastic face shield under the couch cushion. I was shocked. I then question the quality of your cleaning of the rooms. How could this be missed, it was a large item, I feared it was Covid contaminated, which stressed me quite a lot.

Our experience was fine - somewhere to grab several hours sleep before a 7:15 flight to Brisbane the next morning. The room was clean and adequate. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our only criticism was that there was an error in the evening meal that we ordered. We appreciated being able to use the 4:50am shuttle service.

Advertises 24 Hour breakfast but doesn’t

Terrible service. Charged for breakfast x 3 but it’s not available as it states on your front sign. When I asked for a breakfast refund I was told they couldn’t do that. Very ordinary and possibly deceptive conduct. I’ll be following up further.

We waited a long time for the shuttle then had to wait at the hotel for 20 minutes to be checked in as there was not enough staff on reception. The person on reception was excellent it was not his fault this occured.

Late Night Arrival .. Weekend Sydney ..

Courtesy checkin and thanks for your loyalty .. not on Friday 1st April … thought it must be a April Fools joke though 10pm .. afternoon manager, in my opinion was very poor in customer service and while I was ‘too forward’ in not being keen on the pre auto etc! her attitude was dismissive and ‘careless ‘ I as per previous requests, asked for airport room ; previous guests given 613 .. I was then allocated 638 which was quoted as ‘probably allocated for a higher status as in for a pilot’ . If I had been told about Accor policy changes with ‘pay on arrival’, I would have arranged it within minutes. The arrival process took over 5 minutes waiting and well over 5 of unfruitful dissertation. No pre envelope was waiting, ‘we are very busy, and I had to ask for room water, which I then had to carry to room. I was not advised of breakfast times which conclude at ‘an early 9am’. After a long Friday, I had decided for an around 9am breakfast. Arriving at around 8.55am, no staff there to checkin. There was no hot food,no coffee cups or milk. Chef advised closed .. still no wait staff. Some fruit and bread was the extent of the breakfast … .. very very disappointing I’ll be interested in your comments … Dear Keith, we look forward to welcoming you to .. not at Ibis Sydney Airport …

This Ibis is well situated near Sydney Airport. Check in and the room were satifactory. Felt we had a good deal with parking of our car for 5 nights and drop off and pick up at the airport. The pick up from the airport information given to us was a fail and we needed to get a taxi. Apart from that for a low cost evening it served it's purpose.

A great hotel close to the domestic Sydney Airport Terminals 2&3 it takes 10mins to walk or you can catch the Shuttle bus to them or International Great comfortable clean Ibis rooms The staff from the GM down are wonderful and friendly The restaurant is great and well priced even better if an Accor member we will be back

Good value but poorly signposted

We needed a quick stop after a long haul flight. The Ibis was convenient for the airport. However the signposting was terrible from Mascot station (we travelled on public transport). We got wet through in the rain walking to it & the staff seemed indifferent.

Staff were efficent at check in, hotel and room clean. Good price for location and timing. Quick to airport. Better to use taxi's between hotel and airport depending on times, transfer busses more expensive!
