The hotel is well placed and close to the airport which makes it really easy if you need to drop someone off (note: they do also offer a shuttle). The room was clean and tidy, with a comfy bed and blackout blinds. The restaurant downstairs had a great selection of meals for breakfast and dinner, and the price wasn’t too bad. You have to pay for overnight parking, but reception staff were so helpful in organising a ticket for me where I could leave and come back in as many times as I needed during my overnight stay. All staff were very friendly, and the check-in and check-out process was easy.

Location and sevice faultless, Whenever I return from international travel this hotel is always on top of my list as for how staff and facilities are ideal. Always have hassle free check in/out and minimal cost for shuttle to domestic terminal for onward flights.

Everything is fine, except that the receptionist did not notify me that the shuttle no longer stopped by to pick up passengers at the international terminal. I was told to go to bay 12 and wait there. The lady on the phone even gave me the time that the bus was supposed to arrive. This is critical information. When any service does not operate regularly during the Covid-19 pandemic period, the hotel should inform guests beforehand.

I got what I paid for ....very clean. Must note that the workmanship of the Bathroom in the new rooms is poor ! The grouting etc in the shower ??? I am always happy with Accor ! This place was ideal for easy access to the terminal

Because I am Victorian I had problems with check-in. Due to the fact that I am an essential traveller and must be covid ckecked weekly, I presented my latest result, driver;s licence and essential employee permit and the reception staff along with the duty manager resolved the issue. This process took approximately 30 minutes.

We had a 3 night stay . We were originally staying in June but as the rest of our overseas trip had been cancelled we changed the dates to coincide with our Sons 50th Birthday in August . We arrived in the late afternoon and checked in . This was very speedy and efficient by the very friendly staff member on duty . We were given a room on the 6th floor with a nice view to the Airport . Ibis rooms are pretty much all the same format . They have everything you need for a comfortable stay but are compact . Especially in the Bathroom . Everything was in good condition . Tea / Coffee facilities are provided as well as Shampoo / conditioner , nice soft Towels . Even an Iron & Ironing Board & Hair Dryer . A queen size Bed ( very comfortable ) A lounge which seats 2 comfortably as well as a Table . Also Bedside tables . The first night we had a problem due to noise coming from the Roof , possibly an Aircon Unit . We reported this in the Morning and were straight away given another Room on the 5th Floor , this time with a King Bed . No more Noise ! We did have Breakfast each Morning . The Menu is not very comprehensive , possibly because of the Covid restrictions . The Hotel Staff did enforce the Social distancing rules rigidly , which is Great . The Food we had at all time was well prepared and delicious . Check out was again done in a Timely Manner be the Great Staff . The only issue we had was that we were not informed that we had to Request that our Room be serviced for which the Staff did give an apology . The Hotel is just over one Klm from the Domestic Terminal and a 5 minute walk to Mascot Train Station .

It was a hotel No real complaints about it. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable and the room was a bit small. The taxi was called for me when it was time to leave It was unclear which shuttle would be available to pick up from the airport however.

I choose to stay here, every trip to Sydney, not due to the facilities but purely due to the staff. All staff, on reception through to restaurant and kitchen, make my stay here wonderfull. I do no stay anywhere else now and that’s a credit to them.

Freezing cold room because the window leaked both freezing cold air and rain (which dripped down the wall onto the single bed which my young daughter was sleeping in). Damp carpet. Entire hallway (and therefore rooms) reeked of cigarette smoke- guests were obviously smoking in their rooms on level 2.

We stayed two nights in Sydney ,the second day arrived back at the hotel at 3pm to find our room had not been made up, no fresh towels, no bed made, no coffee or tea. I went to reception& complained, I was told that we should have told them in the morning that we required this service, as they had had staff cuts in the hotel. I'm sorry but I am not a mind reader, I should have been told this on arrival.
