Hotel seemed full of a large group. Service at breakfast and checkout was slow. Staff were great but struggling to cope with numbers.Room was as expected for an Ibis comfortable and quiet in view of proximity to the airport.

i self isolated here for 2 nights before my Singapore flight clean room had to pickup my room service from reception food was standard bit expensive for what you get. overall was good stay thankyou no complaints, im happy with the service they obviously only had 1 or 2 staff manning restaurant and reception same time plus dropping food to rooms but very friendly and helpful covid responsible.

Ibis Sydney Airport has got me out of trouble twice in the past two weeks. Both times I urgently needed a hotel quickly in Sydney. Both times I booked online and turned up to a simple stress free check in, clean room with excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. This was a really budget experience. The staff were lovely and everything was really clean but all fairly low budget offerings and experience. We also didn’t realise until we arrived that there were hotel guests and international travellers quarantining. That was a little worrying…

This Ibis is perfect for an overnight stay between flights. A decent menu at the restaurant and extremely helpful and friendly staff. The only drawback is the infrequent and sometimes unreliable bus shuttle by the third party. Accor should have their own bus doing the rounds among all their airport hotels on a fix schedule.

Well located, friendly and efficient check-in and check out, however quite noisy. We were on the top floor, and were surprised at how noisy it was - could hear water from other rooms, external noise etc. Didn't get much sleep.

Kitchen and bar staff were excellent and friendly as always (I have been staying here many years now) however two issues for me on this stay were: 1. I developed a severe headache at 1030 pm and needed Panadol - as I was on crutches (recent knee surgery) so called down to reception to see if they had any - they said 'no'. I asked if there was somewhere nearby I could buy some - as I was on crutches I hoped it was nearby. I got the answer 'maybe down near the station'. So I got on my crutches and went downstairs - I saw that there was light on the road opposite and asked the reception staff if perhaps the convenience store might be open - I got the answer 'well if the lights are on it probably is'. No one offered to call across to see if it was. It was also lightly raining and on crutches I was unable to hold an umbrella. I crutched across the wet road and on the way back there was a severe downpour and I was soaked and also nearly slipped in the road. When I came. back through reception the staff just looked at me soaking wet. This whole experience is not the service culture I had experienced pre-lockdown. 2. The hotel is now apparently a thriving quarantine facility for those needing to do three days after international arrival. I understand the business need but I asked and these guests are not being located on a specific floor so this exposes local guests to a higher covid risk. I think guests should be segregated by floors.

From our warm welcome to cheery goodbye we could not have had a better stay. Our room was pleasant, obviously re furnished. Bathroom is still a pod but quite adequate. We had dinner and breakfast and restaurant staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Food was delicious. 5-10 minute walk to Mascot station made for an easy trip to the city. This is a great hotel for either airport or budget stay for a city trip (nothing nearby but a quick train ride to Sydney)

Value for Money: 5/5 used Accor Long-stay B&B rates Overall: 4.5/5 Would definitely recommend and stay again.
