I have not visited Beijing recently. But I was a regular guest at Novotel Peace. To my surprise, as I walked in on the 17th Nov on a cold winter afternoon, I was warmly greeted by Jane Qin who still remember me. Impressive !

We could walk to the bustling Wangfujing Malls and restaurants. Unfortunately the concierge staff (other than Zhang) were not very helpful and could not speak English. A real shame considering what the hotel can offer!

We just completed our stay at your hotel. Novotel Peace Hotel has been our hotel of choice in Beijing for more than 10 years. Of course, we’ve appreciated the location and the view. But the best selling point of your hotel has to be the people who make guests feel welcome. Alicia at reception on the 19th floor has always been most helpful. Staff like Alicia keep guests coming back. Also, the 19th floor club lounge food and drink seemed to have improved since our last visit. More and better selection.

Our welcome on the Executive level on the 19 floor was warm. The staff were very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to help us with our queries. It was very good service. The food during the happy hour was plentiful but it was cold when it should have been hot or at least warm.

I was a bit disappointed with the overall room as the heating was quite high, there was no clothes line and the shower had no door. Furthermore my wife and I went down to have dinner in the restaurant one night and I felt the price of the buffet was quite high for the selection on offer.

spend five nights in the hotel, second time since my stay in last february, for five nights too. though the hotel has been constructed about sixty years ago, it is very convenient and the rooms are furnished very comfortable. the lobby is very spacious and looks great. i would recommend to book a room with an access to the lounge (free breakfast and dinner, very rich and tasty). the service is very good, the staff (especially the staff in the lounge) is very friendly and helpful. i got a huge corner-room (upgrade). i want to say „thank you“ to the staff again - and see you the next time.

We choose the hotel because of the excellent Position in Beijing for our Sightseeing Purpose. We could reach most relevant things by foot.
