Nice clean & spacious room. Really well located hotel in the city centre. Very good food for dinner and breakfast. Paid for a late checkout too which was handy as I had a late flight home. Will return

Overnight stay whilst in town to see a concert and hotel was everything we could have asked for. Prime spot in the city centre, easy to find the car parking and a great bar for a couple of pre event drinks. Loved the rooms and the hi tech bathroom screens. A funky feature.

Very Enjoyable. Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast good value. Just found it strange that there was no phone in the room for hotel accessibility, or information booklets or no "do not disturb" signs but overall very good.

The double comprised of two single mattresses - this was poor. i wasn’t sure of the procedure to get housekeeping. The wi-fi was off on my first day. ( it could’ve been disastrous as i was working from the room) Breakfast was very good.

Information about food offering and housekeeping policies complete missing at check in and in the room leading to frustration. Appreciate the covid has had an impact on the normal services you would expect from a hotel of your standing - to avoid frustrattion you just have to tell people.

The hotel is a short distance from the bars, clubs and restaurants of the Gay Village and China Town. The city centre is also within easy walking distance. On arrival in the room we were presented with a dirty towel on the floor and a previous guest had left electric clippers, though they were in a plastic bag with the room number written on it, which suggests the cleaner had simply forgotten to take it. However, it did cross our minds if the towel and clippers had been missed how well had the room been cleaned.

Most horrible experience. The room was not cleaned at all, and in my 1 week stay never vacuum cleaned. The floor was as dirty as it could get. I has to ask every day to clean the room, and it was never done properly. Mid-stay I asked for products to clean myself because I got in late and was very upset. Front office team was only positive thing, they tried to help as they could and gave a discount after numerous complains. I was told that due to Covid measures they had less time to clean each room and had to rush. I have all the understanding for the people working and never meant disrespect. But management should not choose profit over service. It is hard for everyone. The prices are very high and we expect to get something in exchange. Thumbs up for front office (night team) thanks for the help

Room and customer service I excellent. Breakfast was a major disappointment. Although the food quality was good the queues for both food and drinks were far too long. The coffee machines are not fit for purpose with the number of people in the breakfast room. These machines seemed very problematic also and most visitors were unsure of their operation leading to further delays. We therefore felt unable to get coffee and tea before our cooked breakfast went cold. So definitely not worth the 10 per head We paid. We would have been better going to an alternative across the road. In future that is what we will be doing.

I stayed for 2 weeks at the Novotel Manchester Centre and all the hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. My room was on the 1st floor and situated just at the top of one of the hotel’s entrance. The noise from the nearby restaurant/bar, the street, and people passing by were all very loud and always wakes me up in the middle of my sleep. I requested to be transferred to another room which was swiftly arranged.

Generally ok - the location is good, the price is competitive, the breakfast was good - but let down by small details. The coffee machines at the breakfast breaking down constantly; no additional pillows available for two guests; no phone in the room; the shower flooded out into the bedroom when used for five minutes. Arrived at 13:58 and was told I could not check in til 14:00 - which seemed fairly pedantic and not particularly good customer service/welcoming, though I did enjoy standing awkwardly with the staff and watching 120 seconds tick by before asking again.

I stopped on 25th sept. I had paid in advance using reward points. After my stay my card was charged for £80 and £57.68. I questioned these charges both through email and telephone. None of my emails have been responded to and the hotel are now no longer answering the telephone to my calls. This is not the response I would expect from the Accor hotels group.

Good Novotel standards, but nowadays we are accustomed to having Wifi and lack of it was a big disappointment. There was an apology letter in the lift but not mentioned by person doing check in.

Having stayed at many Novotels throughout the world, my recent stay at the Novotel Manchester Centre was probably one of the poorest experiences I have had when staying at any Novotel. Whilst the hotel is well situated and staff were friendly, I was told when I enquired as to why my room had not been made up after our 1st night that due to COVID rooms were now only being serviced every 3 days. This information should have been shared at time of booking or at the very least when we checked in. Towels were not changed, beds not made, tea/coffee not replaced and I would not expect to have to ask for toilet paper in a hotel of this standard, Disappointing overall..

Adequate and convenient stay. We were able to take our small dog who settled well. The room was spacious & the facilities were good. Was nice to be able to use the gym. Breakfast was buffet style & adequate would probably suit most people but we would have liked more of a variety of fresh fruit.
