Quick stop en route to the Alps this hotel is one I love primarily for proximity to Gare du Midi but also quieter location than downtown Brussels. Staff were excellent too.

« Criminals sat outside hotel all day »

If you want your possessions stolen then this is the place, I had my gold necklace stolen off my neck outside the front of hotel. Luckily I managed to get it back, but it has left me shaken up and out of pocket getting it repaired

Very convenient near Bruxelles-Midi station. I forgot there wouldn’t be a kettle in the room, but there are supermarkets and cafes nearby.

Hotel was very easy to find, having an entrance almost direct from Bruxelles-Midi station. Room was very good. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not particularly inviting, having a somewhat scruffy appearance, and the hotel entrance and foyer were not brightly lit. Check-in was businesslike, but not particularly welcoming.

Clean room, lovely shower, complimentary tea/coffee, reasonable bed and so close to Brussels Midi. Only downside was the over priced bottle of water.

Very convenient when arriving by Eurostar to Brussels Midi. Major disappointment on check-out. I did the courteous thing and left my room early and asked to leave my bag in left luggage. Only option was lockers with a fee to pay. I feel that I was helping the hotel by leaving my room, and ths felt like a kick in the teeth. I do not expect to pay to leave a bag for half a day in a hotel where I have stayed for 2 nights. I am a loyalty card holder and proabably should have asked for a late check-out just to keep my bag in my room with no fee. Why try to help the hotel?

Thank you for this input. We have installed the luggage storage room to increase the security and limite the access towards non resident guests. This hasn't been done to increase revenue. Sorry if this was the message provide during your stay. As we have 225 rooms with a potential of 500+ guests it is impossible for us to store this on demand. Our room was very big and we were at the 5th floor which was nice. However the hotel seemed it was not renovated for a long time and also the entrance was not designed for luggage as it had a few steps

« It was nice and clean and convenient for the Gare du Midi. the new rooms were a good size »

I was staying for business, so it was really handy that breakfast was available very early. Although there was not a huge choice of evening meals, the food was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel and I had three different dishes over the three day stay. It would have been good to have some shampoo/body wash in the shower cubicle. As the one by the wash basin was attached to the wall, I could not take it in the shower with me, so improvised by decanting a small amount into the tooth mug every day!!
