Nice welcoming staff, quiet room apart from one bunch of revellers at 1:30am one night, but that's not the hotel's fault.

I stayed for almost 1.5 weeks for a work event. Location in Leuven can't be beat so it's always my first choice of hotels. The last time I stayed here was also for a work trip in 2016. I will say the breakfast is great, the lobby and bar area likewise are still very nice looking. However the interior hallways and some aspects of the room look a bit worn. I'm sure the hotel gets high traffic but it's something to consider that maybe the hallway common areas could be freshened up (carpet, paint, etc.). I'm sure it's probably a victim of the covid pandemic but I always remembered the hotel having a very robust room service menu. I dined in the hotel 1 night and then chose to order from a local restaurant given the limited dining menu. I'll absolutely stay here again.

I understand the higher price after Covid lockdown(s) and energetic crisis. I do not understand the lower standards. Gym facility has been let go, breakfast has poorer choices, food is surely the lower point. Staff very friendly.

Stay was okay, but could definitely be improved

The room was clean and bed and shower were good. However even with just 21 degrees outside the room was overly warm and no airco. The window did not have an option to open just for ventilation and the road outside was way too loud to keep the window open all night. 1 point less also for the bad cheap (milk) coffee, not only at breakfast but also at the restaurant for 3.50. the restaurant had a very cheap folded paper for a menu and drink options were somewhat limited. Also the play corner was very limited with a few books and a box of Kapla. Apparently on weekends there's also a Xbox, but that was only placed there when we checked out. Breakfast was good (apart from the coffee) with sweet and savoury options and also milk alternatives. A discount on parking would have been nice. With 20euros per day it's quite expensive.
