The room smelled of smoking and was not clean

I arrived late, around 23:30. The reception is 24 hours open, that's great. Unfortunately the room smelled of smoking and it was not very clean, not what I was expecting nowadays to be honest. For sure not coming back to this hotel.

The hotel is located just off a main road but on weekends, the noise is ok. Checking is very good. Health check done. The dining area has been remodeled but the rooms need one. My room despite setting up the heater, it was not warm as I wish. My bed was laying against the wall but on the side. So my head is not against the wall. You can be uncomfortable with pillow that can fall. Speaking of pillows, they need to be changed.

I go to this hotel 3-4 times a year normally (without covid). Very good staff (often too much occupied). Well located hotel, good breakfast. No enough choices of meals evening (-1 point). It was a good experience.

the room was not soundproof and the neighbors were very noisy all night...they had practically organized a party in the room. I asked the reception several times to intervene but nothing happened! We did not sleep at all

Stay was ok for 1 night, but not more. Only thing is that the rooms at the side of the highway, you can hear everything and cars driving up dan down 24/7. Did not had a good night rest because you hear everything from outside in the rooms. Breakfast was good, location was good.

We ordered one of the biggest rooms which turned out to have a slanted roof so in fact wasn’t so big. Neither of the children’s beds were made when we arrived. No shower caps in the room.

The staff was fine and so was the room but the TV was not working (had a green screen for all channels and the sound was intermittent) and when taking a shower the water did not stay at the same temperature and changed from cold, luke warm, hot without me adjusting the faucet and I could not get it to stay at a normal temperature... I did spend much time in the room so I did not contact the hotel staff about these issues so my own fault for not getting them taken care of during my stay but I figure maybe you'd like to know.

Fantastic Staff but way over priced

So on a positive point the staff were fantastic. I stay in a lot of Accor Hotels and have to say this was way overpriced approx £127 per night. (despite the fact the sign outside stayed at 69 Euro for the whole of my 2 night stay) That rate was apparently a preferred member price so goodness knows what it would have been otherwise. Room was ok, nothing to write home about and lacking any tea and coffee making facilities. Was it worth £127 per night not even close. Tiny TV, basic shower, basic furniture set up etc. Other than the room and the bar/restruant there are no other facilities. Be aware if you don't have a car and are looking to travel here from Brussels it's not the easiest of places to get too. Food was pretty good and as I said in the title super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast starts super early which is a plus. Truth is at this price I woudn't stay again as there are lots of other options in the area that offer far more for your money in terms of facilities.

The check-in is perfect as the fast check-out. A very nice personnel does the maximum to enjoy your Journey. A good adress in the west of Brussels. A quite night and a fresh orange juice at the breakfast.

I went to the dining room for a meal and sat there for quite some time and was totally ignored, and so I left. I asked for an early morning call and the reason I did not receive was that the telephone in my room did not work. As a result I missed the ferry I was aiming for and had to take a later one. Would not recommend it if you want a decent service.

The room was quiet and since we paid for the family room the size was enjoyable. The only small problem was the bathroom smell wasn't pleasant on arrival. But we had a small spray bottle for smells which made the smell much better plus we added water the the shower and sink drains.

I was driving from Germany back to the UK and chose this hotel for my stopover Aalst is a really nice little town and the hotel was great for me not far from the motorway and close to the town. The hotel is in a nice quiet location and the rooms are the good Ibis standard.

I was pleased with the situation of the hotel just off the E40 m-way, and it was perfectly situated for my cycling rendezvous at Herzele on the Sunday morning. I received a warm welcome on arrival. My room was very spacious and at the back of the hotel, so it was calm and, coupled with the comfortable bed, I had a good night's sleep. I used the underground parking at night (paying). Good choice of food at breakfast and with service starting at 6.30 a.m. it suited me perfectly. Fast check-in and check-out worked well.

Hotel, food, drinks all quite good. Staff excellent.Room, not so good. Power saving lights not good enough to read by and, one flickered! Shower door twisted so leaked into bathroom. Shower itself, very little pressure.
