Unexpected Great Service at Ibis

Having had a horrible experience booking through Booking.com - their software booking me three rooms in 1 minute which took 2 hours to rectify I rang the IBIS as I was having trouble cancelling the two additional room, but Ibis did explain it had to be cancelled via Booking.com. The receptionist at the IBIS explained and even went out of her way to get me a phone number for Booking.com - you try and find it on their booking app!!!. When I turned up Rachel at Ibis was welcoming, professional and apologised for the lift was not working but offered to help me with my baggage - which was not required but very pleased to be offered it. The room was immaculately cleaned and was in a very good state. Breakfast was great and again the staff were very polite and attentive. I have not stayed in an Ibis for years but now would most certainly add to my list of options. Your Rachel is star and I hope you can keep hold of her as she would be an asset to any hotel chain

Excellent Stay For 1 Night - Great Location

Stayed for the 1 night, not only great value for money, the dog could stay. There was a warm welcome from arrival to departure. Bar area was really relaxing and the staff really friendly. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an over night stay on route to an event or looking for great road access to get you out and about North or South of England. I will be back!!!

A good location but a noisy room with a very firm bed

With Ibis you know what you are going to get, the room was functional and clean but very noisy. There was constant plant noise from inside the hotel all night and this led to a disturbed nights sleep
