We stayed two nights. First night: ok. We left our room at 10:00 and saw the cleaning lady opening our window (ground floor, right at the parking lot). When we came back at 17:30 our window was still wide open… Our belongings right in sight and ready to be taken away… (laptops). Luckily nothing was stolen, but the room was full of flies and with outside temperatures of + 34•C, extremely hot. When we complained at the reception we got as answer: ‘oh sorry, they must have forgotten to close, but there’s nothing we can do…’ and they turned away… So we had a terrible second night in a hot room which the AC couldn’t get down before the morning,… Very bad experience! At least they could have offered us another room, but no, not even a cold drink…

Room was very nice. Sadly it seemed as if a cat was staying there prior - it smelled of cat‘s urine in the bathroom which wasn’t very pleasant. Staff was friendly but at times annoyed and stressed. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant was okay but staff there could be a bit more customer oriented. Food was okay but I wouldn’t recommend eating there if you mustn’t. Bud and train stations are pretty close by which was nice. No welcome drinks even though I am staying at Ibis all the time and usually get complementary welcome drink.

Once I entered the room, there was a humid not pleacent smell. The shower is dirty with yellow stains … The shampoo and soap bottle was totally empty (lack of attention to details). The mattress is very thin. Also, I know the A/C is not that common in some Europe cities but you could offer it to the clients that can not stand hot environments. Could not sleep. I must say, very kind employees. Thank you for all the attention in the front desk. Thank you for the masks. Best.

We stayed overnight on our long journey from southern Spain to the UK. What a pleasant hotel. Staff were so obliging and friendly, rooms spotless and comfortable, pet friendly and even the small bar/ cafe/ restaurant was very reasonably priced. Would definately recommend .

Expectations were met.

Dear MARTIN A., First of all, thank you for taking part of your time to comment on your stay with us. We are glad to know that your stay, in general, was pleasant. About the on line check in, as far as i know, it's only on basque country compulsory to do it again. As here there is not the same "police" than the rest of spain, the sistem is not linked to them and by law we have to do the check in with another system.
