Awful and Sloppy Customer Service

Dirty towels right out of the plastic bags for starters clearly clogged toilet. After at least 5 minutes trying to get someone from the front desk to answer the phone, maintenance staff told me it was "normal" and nothing could be done. Eggs at breakfast would indicate only "eggs" even if you could inadvertently take a bite of ham at your own risk. When I warned the staff about the lack of attention it showed in regards to restricted diets a shrug and a laugh was all I could get. Front desk receptionist would not answer the direct lines, unless you'd go down to ask something face-to-face in the middle of a pandemic. Air-conditioning went out during an entire night in a city where the temperature was reaching around 35º C during the week. Tried to book the gym and was told I'd get a call when it was free to use... reckon I'm still waiting for the call

The hotel is absolutely terrible. It should not be under NOVOTEL brand. The AC was not working, the first room we checked in was smelling like cigarette. We changed rooms but also the AC was not working. We called the reception and the staff was aware and confirmed this is a recurrent problem. Talking with my networking , it is cleat that the public in general is very dissatisfied with this Hotel. This property is a disservice to Accor Hotels. I demand my money back. Absolutely ridiculous place to stay with my family and 6 months old baby. Reinaldo F.

The nastiest hotel Ive been in my life… simply disgusting. Me and my family (two little kids) got sick after staying in this pigsty! I will NEVER stay on an Accor hotel again and I will advocate against you for the rest of my life!

Rooms lacked maintenance, toilet seat was loose anf bathroom was not well cleaned, the floor was slippery. When we arrived, the room assigned had just one pillow and one towel (we are a family of four). This showed that the room was not prepared to us. I also booked the room office for work. And, at my check in, nobody knew I had this type of reservation. The office rooms are not the same as advertised. Pictures do not match the actual office. Overall, the hotel is not prepared for a good customer service. The Novotel Porto Alegre is not alike or in line with the Novotel standards.

There was no laundry service at the hotel, very low quality breakfast (margarine, low quality bread, etc). There was only one washcloth in the room, not even at the Ibis I went through something like that. A lot of guests needed to have breakfast before 7am and there was no possibility of having this service. Pay a visit to the hotel for a week and you will see how the quality has dropped...

I had a terrible experience in my Stay at Novotel Porto Alegre Tres Figueiras at Nov-24th. The room had no curtains, TV had no remote control, the bathroom had wires expose at the lights switch. I got to reception and tried to change my room but they said they didn't had available rooms. It was my worst hotel experience.

I do like of room cleaning, localization and stafft care I didn´t like of wi-fi signal, lack of restaurant service after 09:30 pm and room refrigerator without water and soda.

The breakfast start time should be reviewed urgently as is too late (only opens at 07:00 am). For people who is travelling to business is very bad, we have to rush to take the breakfast. I will not stay on this hotel again (when travelling for business) because of this.

Average accommodation and poor service

The reception and room service staff provided good service. However, the experience in the hotel restaurant was poor. We had previously booked a meal at the hotel restaurant and chose to enjoy it after check-in, the restaurant staff did not have this information and did not know how to conduct the service. The service was poor, the main course took a long time, the salad came without sauce, the dessert which was a mousse was frozen and the staff were impolite. In addition, the entire building smelled strongly of frying during the first day and, if I am mistaken, the benefits of my Gold ALL status were not fully available.

Breakfast buffet is okay. Room comfort is below average (noise, blinders, bathroom). Maintenance is very poor (as an example, there was no cold water in the morning during my last stay and hot water was extremely hot, thus preventing from taking a shower). Front desk with just one person to handle both room calls (asking for explanation on the cold water issue) and check-out.

I had a great experience at Novotel because the hotel is very well located in the center of Porto Alegre, the hotel facilities, including the apartment, are very clean and the service of the staff is exemplary!

The Novotel Porto Alegre Tres Figueiras it's an amazing place! I enjoy the location, rooms quality, food quality. Im my opinion is one of most options that I visited from Accor Hotels. Almost 100% of my visits to Porto Alegre, I stayed in that Hotel.

They did not make up my room, even though I complained at the reception; air conditioning not working; almost impossible to access the internet, narrow band; water flowing to the floor of the bathroom. Surely you can get more for your money, very expensive for the service. Really below the standards of other properties of the Novotel chain.

I do like this hotel. It has been my first choice for some time. As I always drive into the city I find my way to the hotel quite simple something that is not the case in most major Brazilian cities. Second I know exactly what I will find once I get there - the quality linked to Novotel.
