The toilet does not work well, the sink faucet does not close well, diva dripping water. The bed, old mattress, the fridge doesn't freeze, the towels are too old. Thank you.

Terrible wi-fi service

First point to be evaluated is the internet access, the wi-fi connection did not worked at all. I really can´t maintain a connection for more than 5 minutes, at all. Second topic to be analysed is the exceed noise from the upstairs rooms. I claimed two or three times on the reception, but I saw no improvement on noise coming from upstairs. So, in my point of view you need to work on both topics to improve our evenings at the hotel.

The room was really disappointing, cleaning was not adequate (but fortunately hotel changed my room).

Swimming Pool was under renovation

The weather was extremely hot, so I choose this hotel based on the fact that it have a swimming pool. For our surprise, when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that the pool was under renovation. It was not informed during reservation or before arrival.

Room need to be refreshed, modernized. Internet needs to be setup as this is one of the issue in this hotel.... and Brazil.. The B/fast is good, staff in General are very good, especially the one from reception, always open to resolve any issue. See you soon

The room is comfortable and the breakfast is very well served, but the internet connection was failing, in my room, and I needed to use my 4G connection to have internet access.

Bed and shower was really good but. Reception area people are really friendly and tried to help all the time. Water was missing one day (in the morning) and the internet since I have been staying at this hotel is really terrible. Toilet was broken from day one and I could not really flush. Bar are should have more people working once a colleague stayed 3 hours and no body went to ask him if he needed something. Swimming pool was really dirty!

The experience as a whole I have to consider including receive the receipt, so as you never send until I make call asking. My experience once again was not god. By the way, I already complain about, but no response so far, one more thing to make my experience not so god.

Breakfast buffet is okay. Room comfort is below average (noise, blinders, bathroom). Maintenance is very poor (as an example, there was no cold water in the morning during my last stay and hot water was extremely hot, thus preventing from taking a shower). Front desk with just one person to handle both room calls (asking for explanation on the cold water issue) and check-out.

I am extremely disappointed with the restaurant quality, although it's expensive. I mean, it's all clean and beauty, but the dishes are not tasty and are not enough. The overall experience is the opposite from the other Novotel experience I had at Porto Alegre; the one next to the airport. The restaurant is incredible!

Noisy and buggy

The room above had a lot of people in it, talking loud and laughing. It was past 11:00pm. Also, there were plenty of mosquitoes. I have killed over 4 before sleeping. Not all was bad. I was delighted to see a lady with Down Syndrome working at the restaurant. Kudos to the hotel.

I go to Porto Alegre and stay at the Novotel frequently, and on this last trip to Porto Alegre, I went to Porto Alegre to spend my birthday with my kids, and I was supressed when I got to the room of the hotel and saw a letter and a dessert to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival I realized I had forgotten tooth paste. The pharmacy next door was closed, but Artur from the reception gave me from his personal paste. Great service!!

The room was comfortable. The restaurant could be improved. The breakfast in the morning could offer more day-to-day variety. In the evening, the service at the restaurant was slow with many foods being "out".
