« Clean room, nice breakfast, location ideal! »

I was only at Novotel for one night, but none the less enjoyable. Clean room and the choice of a walk in shower or shower over bath. No noise issues. The mattress was harder than I had expected, but didn't effect my sleep. Breakfast was lovely and I loved the option of having it delivered to your room (if I had not needed to be out early I probably would have used this service). Close to the station and wellington place offices for the purpose of my visit.

Quick overnight stay at Novotel Leeds. The hotel is super handy to the station and city centre, staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good too. Would definitely recommend here for a long weekend / business trip to family and friends.

Everything and everyone was better than we had expected. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and a lovely leather lounger, fridge, gorgeous coffee, slippers, dressing gown and lots of other little extras, which made it a very good stay.

Overall really good. The only issue I had was that the reception team could not trace my booking. However this was resolved once I provided the booking confirmation

We had a lovely time. Breakfast was lovely. Complimentary arrival drink and upgrade was a lovely touch. We were competing in the Leeds 2019 swimming event and were next door to our fellow club members. The bar food was lovely. Only point I would make it that on the Saturday night there was private party going on in the dining roo. We wanted to eat in the bar but unfortunately the party seemed to spill out into the bar area and (i) we couldn't get seating and (ii) tables weren't cleared so we weren't even sure if eating was an option. We had lunch Sunday at the bar and it was absolutely gorgeous. -Staff were v. efficient and friendly all round. Regards Clare Healion

Most of our stay was at the standard expected but attention to detail/consistency could be improved. Only one lift was working during our 5 day visit. Bedding was changed but not towels.

« Breakfast let down »

Service on the desk prompt, nice room however let down by lack of food at breakfast. There was no eggs and after 10mins of waiting 3 came out which promptly disappeared by several people in front which meant a lot of people were disappointed. Having stayed before we were surprised by this as the previous time there wasn’t this issue

« Relaxing stay close to the city centre »

The room was perfect and the staff was absolutely lovely throughout our visit. We decided to order food into the room, which was delivered quickly. The food was slightly disappointing (pizza and a burger), but that's a small con to otherwise perfect stay! Will be staying at Novotel again! :)

« Rooms (particularly 601) were not clean. Breakfast fine. »

My wife and Daughter stopped in R601. They found a pair of socks from a previous guest and hairs in the bath that had not been cleaned. For a 4* hotel I would have expected better. When we mentioned this to reception upon checking out we were told we should have advised them earlier and they'd have moved us. Thats hardly the point. I had to volunteer the info. The receptionist never enquired about our stay at all which is pretty basic customer service.

« Good clean rooms, very helpful staff »

Stayed here for a course for 4 days. Staff were very helpful. Rooms very clean and well appointed. Only small gripe, tea bags not replenished when room was serviced. Everything else in the room was excellent. Restaurant food at lunch and dinner was excellent. Breakfast, being self service was less so, due to fried eggs, bacon etc. being dried out after being out some time.
