We had a family wedding in Wellington and selected to stay in the Novotel on the Terrace.. Great location, staff really nice and helpful, the food in the restaurant was really nice and very well presented.. Room had a lovely view over the city and the bed was just heaven.. Thank you team.. A lovely stay..

Lovely and clean, with an excellent restaurant. My only concern was that I had to pay extra for parking, and wasn't aware (as my other experiences with staying at novotels is that there has always been parking), so I never read the blurb about parking.

The Hotel is situated really well. On check in I was given two complimentary drink vouchers which was a nice bonus. Once in our room first glance looked nice. Unfortunately we then noticed some mess on the carpet and also some hair in the bath. We didn't bother raising it with the staff and cleaned the bath ourselves. Wellington was freezing that day so we turned on the heating but unfortunately it was faulty and only blew cold air. We called for assistance and one of the staff brought us a small fan heater. In fairness this did heat the room but personally I would of thought a new room would have been offered especially with the hotel being so quiet post covid lockdowns etc. Other than that the hotel was handy to city shopping and the bed was comfortable.

Thankfully the portable heater did help to heat your room but I agree with your sentiment that a room move may have been a better choice in this instance providing it wasn't an inconvenience in the moment. Good room and stay but parking was not suitable for my ford ranger vehicle were i was advised on the phone on the day prior there would be suitable parking the ramp is to tight for a bigger vehicle

This Hotel has always been my favorite place to stay but this time round things were a little different. I was disapointed that Housekeeping came to clean my room after 5 pm. I told them not to bother as I didn't want to have to go out and wait. Also the air conditioning in my room was stuck on Cold even when it was on the highest setting. I should have said something but it was evening so just turned it off. Still rather cold though. Everything else with my stay was good.

Staff very friendly. The hotel is trying so hard to get back to normal in very quiet times. Must be very difficult to cater for variable and low numbers of guests. I felt welcomed and the hotel was very clean. Dinner options failed to entice me but breakfast a la carte was very big and well prepared. Will definitely be back to support this hotel and its staff, one of my favourites.

It was ok room smelled funny and heating wasn’t working
