People are ok but the room are not so good in term of cleanness and finition, air conditionning was not working. The quality of the equipment are quite old compared to other Novotel hotels in France or other countries

Unfortunately the hotel has been neglected and its facilities have become old and taken the bad look of the years. The carpet is sloppy and stained. The TV has no international channels. The use of plastic is very high, eg coffee spoons.

I was staying in your hotel as part of business travel with my collegues from work. From Novotel I would expect great service and standard (when I was on private trip in Novotel in Cracow, it was fantastic experience). However in Barcelona Sant Joan Despi there were small bugs in my room and in my collegues room and bathroom... Also other amenities were a little bit worn out. I will try to avoid staying in this Novotel again.

I was checked in to room 507 which at first seemed ok. I then realized that in the bathroom as well as in the bedroom (especially on the sideboard (TV + Coffee Machine area) there were many insects (looked like ants) walking around. I then called the reception, asked for another room and was moved to room 102 which was in the smoking floor of the building. The room did not have any insects, yet it was worn down and you could clearly see a difference from room 507. All in all it was my first stay at the Novotel in Sant Joan Despi and I am sure to consider a different Hotel for my next one.

Reserved a Novotel and found a hotel worst than an Ibis

We made a reservation to the Novotel hotel expecting to be in a hotel according the Accor standards. This hotel doesn't even qualify to be a cheap Ibis express. It is dirty (the carpet in the walkways is disgusting), is not properly maintained and the room service is terrible. Definetely, Accor has lost my confidence.

Not very welcoming staff, but maybe because of the language barrier, but I still don’t think that’s an excuse. Restaurant breakfast staffs are the best, nice and friendly. Who did our check in and out were not friendly at all. Front desk staffs (girls) were not friendly.

Looked a very tatty and shaggy place as a first impression

The place warn down. It looks like an overhaul of it is very soon needed. Check in was OK. Very nice staff. I was given an electronic card key and took the elevator to the 5th floor. Card key did not work. Tried quick, slow and very slow swipe in every possible direction. Back to reception were the lady gave me instructions on how to use the card key. Card key was fine as it was clear that I did not do it properly. Second attempt failed as to be expected. Back to the reception for the second time. This time the person came with me together with a new card. New card worked. Unfortunately on the time wasted. The carpet in the hotel looked very warn. It gave a very shaggy impression. Carpet in room looked very dirty. Nice bed and that is probably the most important part. In the bathroom drainage lock of the sink was broken. Had to be creative for shaving in the morning. Breakfast was perfect. Overall price was ok for the poor impression and the breakfast made it all worth while.

I desliked my stay in this hotel. Well below any 4 star standard, with a very dirty carpet in my room, uncomfortable bed, broken tiles in the bathroom, shower quality also very poor.

Great welcome and service and overall satisfied Practical location Taxi could find it easily and were quick to be there in the morning even as busy hour I just stayed one night On the downside, most TV channels had reception issues so you have to be patient to find the ones working
