Hotel em reforma, mas subiu de nível. Tudo bom. Só não entendo o café da manhã ser tão caro e pouco atraente…

Poderia nos dizer o que não gostou do nosso café da manhã? Lamentamos que o buffet não tenha sido do seu agrado apesar da seleção de produtos locais e uma vasta variedade de frios (queijos, salame, etc.) e quentes (ovos mexidos , becon, salsicha etc.), bem como sobremesas, incluindo rosquinhas de vinho local e tozzetti romano. Será nosso cuidado nos comprometermos mais para garantir que os produtos sejam mais valorizados no futuro. Na expectativa de acolher de novo, queira aceitar os nossos melhores cumprimentos. Although renovations took place in the entry hall, the staff made our welcome just fine at the side entry. This modern building has typical room layout with all accommodations. But the fusion style bar / breakfast terras area made the difference. Local cuisine at its best in a relaxed area, inside and outside. Good service of people that want u to have a good time.

At first look, this place was very nice. Our check-in was very smooth and the restaurant in-house was decent. The room was also very clean/spacious and there’s an enjoyable view from the top floor. However, as soon as we had an issue, their true colors seemed to show. We had a room with a hot tub outside and were happy to see that they included instructions in the room for how to work it as we were planning on using it later that night after walking around town. The instructions were pretty easy: 1. Fill the hot tub 5/6 full 2. Press the power button. Easy day, right? Turns out there is no power button. The hot tub turns on automatically when it senses a certain amount of water in the tub. Also, the jets also turn on as soon as they are halfway covered. There is nothing you can do to stop it. This meant that while we were sitting in the hot tub waiting for it to fill up, the partially covered jets spewed water and dirt at our faces. It got our towels, phones, speaker, and the floor all dirty and wet. There was no way to stop it except to let it run its course. Additionally, I think there was a piece missing from the tub because there was no way to turn on the faucet for the tub without creating this fountain that shot half the water outside the tub. It was a miserable end to our exhausting day. The next morning I called and tried to explain the situation to the front desk. The lady who answered came just short of calling me stupid. She wouldn’t let me finish my sentences and simply said “it’s very simple, you just press the power button.” The rudeness continued when i had to basically beg her to send someone up to take a look at how dirty the tub was and the fountain that seemed abnormal. She sent up two people who we weren’t able to communicate with because they only spoke Italian and we only spoke English. They pointed at the “3-step hot tub instructions” in the room and then laughed at us before acting confused when I tried to show them the fountain and the dirt in the tub. After realizing we weren’t getting anywhere I stopped trying to explain. Miserable experience that led to us regretting staying at a place far from the city center and paying more for the room with a hot tub only to not be able to use it and get laughed at for it. The poor service didn’t end there, however. The day we checked out we asked them to hold our luggage for us. They agreed and while they were tagging it I told them that one of the bags were fragile and to please be careful with it. I also asked if we could write “frágile” on the tag. She said there was no need be she’s she would keep it behind the front desk to make sure it didn’t get tossed around the luggage room. When we came back our fragile bag was all in the luggage room with all the other luggage. At least some of their staff seem have serious customer service and organization issues and I can’t imagine why this is considered a 4-star hotel and it’s standards are definitely not in line with the standards of other Mercure hotels we have stayed in. Definitely do not recommend staying here with the poor customer service and the fact that it is so far from the city center.
Dear Mr. Robert, I am sorry that your last stay did not live up to your expectations, our staff is always ready to help our guests, it's one of the strengths of our hotel. a situation you mentioned has never occurred before. I will investigate to understand what could have happened and intervene to ensure that it does not occur in the future. I hope you can trust us again in the future and welcoming again as our guest.

Costumamos ficar sempre nos Hotéis da rede e infelizmente este foi a pior experiência até o momento. Limpeza deficitária, equipamento da casa de banho velho e desgastado, não há recepção e o check in é feito no restaurante, café da manhã pouco variado e com reposição lenta, camas desconfortáveis, Este Hotel não segue os padrões da rede. Não voltaremos a este Hotel e iremos ter mais atenção ao escolher outros hotéis da rede.
