« Old, clean and quite building »

Building and furniture is old. this should be renovated. Drain clogged in the shower. Water flowing out of the shower area into the whole bathroom. Multiple switches in the room, very annoying to switch everything before going to sleep. Breakfast - some options were available a la carte, but it was not visible. I came to know this, only when I asked. Staff at the reception was very polite and cultured.

It was OK. Bed was comfortable and food at dinner and room service was good. I was not asked at check in to put money on my card so had to pay every time I used anything rather than put it on the room which was annoying. Worst feature was the hairdryer - absolutely useless. Mine kept falling apart. I complained using the app and asked for another. I got an online response but 2 days later there was still no sign of a new hairdryer. You need to upgrade hairdryers. Also no point having an online tool to raise points if no one then does anything about them

« good service as in past, but your hotel offers now only an unhealthy environment »

I was frequently guest for a long time , but I feel since your renovation of the lobby no longer really in a healthy environment. The smell in the main areas is bothering heavily and also I have the feeling (after being some "minutes" in the lobby) getting allergic reactions (bronchs and nose). I thought the smell will disappear one day but since the renovation was done already quite a while ago, still there is no change and moreover the smell is now allover all the hotel floors. Unfortunately I had to ask my team to look in future for another accomodation option - sorry PS I guess your builder used wall- or floorpanels with formaldehyd composites, you should check this seriously, especially for the sake of your employees!!!

Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. In the room we've stayed though, sink had cracks and obviously needs to be replaced.

Staying in this hotel was good, good service. Breakfust was also as in all Novotel with a good standart. Just the airco didn't work proprely and the room was to hot. Also was the bathroom in a poor condition and old but still workrd as it should be. the shower was also broken.

Hotel with the very good breakfast, perfect location, but with average service and very old rooms … Metro station located just around the corner (Mendeleevskaya station). The breakfast is perfect with the very wide range of food. Cleaning of the room was made very bad, cups not washed, new water and cosmetic was not refreshed (only after reminder). The rooms are very old together with the furniture, not enough electric sockets (no sockets in bathroom). Not possible to open the windows and condition works only for heating, not easy to sleep (not enough fresh air). The matrasses are very old and I was absolutely tired after sleeping every night and have a pain in my back.

Hotel with the good location and perfect breakfast, but … 1) Cleaning of the room made not good, we stayed in hotel 8 days, coffe cups was never cleaned, sometimes they forgot to put the water, they forgot to refresh cosmetic as well and I was needed to ask it. 2) In the bar, the first day they told us that juice press was broken (but they told it to us after taking the order), on the next day we ordered the Pelmeny and the Borsch, they bring it and after that told us that sour cream was finished, but it is not normal to eat Borsch or Pelemeny without sour cream!

My stay was very good except one incident I have and sent different mail on that as follow: Hi I checked out yesterday evening back to Israel taking my luggage from your storage room. When I unpacked this morning I noticed that I’m missing some of the Israeli money I had around 200 isr shekels. I don’t say that someone was taking it and I might forgot it in the room when packed. « It was much better than last time I stayed at this hotel. »

Even though I think overall experience was so much better than last time I stayed at the hotel, I still think this hotel has things to improve. For example, the toiletries had only shampoo and no conditioner. While it might work for men, most women use conditioner when washing hair. I didn't bring my own so I had to go and buy one. On the positive side, the internet connection and speed was so much better than last few time I stayed at Novotel. I din't have any problems with that. The bathrooms are a little bit tight and there is no room to put the staff including towels.
