Usual Ibis standards, clean enough and decent bar bar/breakfast area on ground floor. That said, they were playing the worst music down there and despite it just being is in that area,wouldn't turn it down or change it. Had to leave in the end it was so bad.

Hotel itself is a bit oudated but has comfortable bed and convinient car park in backyard. I was staying for 1night only so it was ok. What I didnt like is I was awaken at8am by somebody knocking to my room and finally opened the door and got in(???). Possibly house keeping...It should not happen. I was after long way drive and another one ahead of me so it affected my day as I couldnt get back to sleep.

Well... they didnt inform about the (differing from state to state) corona test requirements beforehand. The insisted on paying in the evening if arrival.., almost fine, although they were only able to print out invoices in the morning. The didn't manage to encode the key cards to our room, so they had zo accompany us. - blame management, front desk is clearly understuff. Loads of signs whats forbidden here and forbidden there screaming at guest. One lift broken, the other in shabby condition. The place lacks investment. And thought. Also applies to the apparently cost-saving reduced breakfast. Poorly labeled, no (spare) cups at the coffee maker,... rather loud and annoying pop music with it. Perhaps the morning staff's spotify favorite.

We take the comments of our guests very seriously and always on opportunity to improve our service. Let us now respond to your criticism. According to our documentation and the feedback of our colleague who made the check in, your arrival has been late in the evening to a time when the system is shortly down due to the switch between the days. In that special case, no invoices or key cards can be created in a short while. That is why our colleague led you to the room instead of letting you wait, although she was alone at the reception and in the hotel. Against our specifications, our colleague offered you to pay in the morning. You preferred to pay and receive an invoice in the evening. Our colleague gave you the credit card receipt first and later in the evening when the system was ready she gave you the invoice as well as your key cards. By the way the elevator in question has been fixed already the next day. All the security signs are part of our safety concept, which is rewarded and tested by Institut Fresenius, for which we received the “All Safe Label”. It is as well part of our safety concept not to offer self-service for cups or any dishes at the breakfast or coffee machine but our service staff would of course have served you on demand. Please feel free at any time to tell us if you are not satisfied with anything like for example the music in the morning. At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence.
