Poor breakfast, the room was quite large, dirty carpet in the corridor, very kind people at the reception desk.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a good experience at Novotel Kraków Centrum. The staff was very helpful and and interested in guests. The concierge helped us with our questions. We liked the room we got and the sauna at the hotel. Overall very good stay. But we got a bit disappointed with the breakfast we ordered the first day. The choice was very small and we didn’t get impressed.

Everything was perfect, perfect location, facilities and very kind people in the reception. The only minus was the organization of the breakfast- due to covid restrictions. The long queue of people waiting to be served was not very safe environment.

This was our 10th time staying at Novotel Krakow Centrum ! Although some of the staff has changed, we were warmly welcomed as usual, The hotel staff are professional, courteous and accommodating. The rooms are very clean with good views of Wavel castle and the river. The location of the hotel is excellent, a short walking distance to the main square and the reception staff are only too willing to assist with tourist excursions further afield. The hotel has good recreational facilities, pool with sauna, gym and a wellness spa for if you feel the need to treat yourself. We tend to visit krakow as a break to relax, unwind and catch up with friends living and working in krakow, Novotel krakow centrum is the ideal place for that. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the food is always well presented and of good quality. The bar is spacious with regular sports coverage on tv, good beers, wines and spirits and waiting staff are simply the best, who can't do enough for us. WE will ALWAYS return to Novotel Krakow centrum, i refuse to stay anywhere else ! The whole NKC team are fantastic and should be commended on their commitment, professionalism and dedication.

Room and location excellent. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and great view of river and Wawel. Unfortunate the hotel could not cope with high occupancy. 20 min queue for breakfast when we are meant to be social distancing. Guests without masks not challenged by staff. Paid for parking but garage was full second night so had to park in street. Rooms only serviced on demand due to COVID but this wasn’t explained on arrival. In short Hotel should only take volume of bookings it can guarantee good service for.

All meals must be dispensed by trained personnel to avoid spreading of the virus. With high occupancy, unfortunately, it is associated with a longer waiting for breakfast. That is why we inform our guests about the most optimal hours of using the buffet. I'm sorry you didn't understand the communication about room cleaning. Location was great, staff was very friendly. But when I checked in no one told me I had to request my room to be cleaned, no one told me I had to sign up for a time to swim. On day two when I asked why my room was not clean she told me I had to sign up before 5:00 so I asked to get my room clean for the next day. My room was never cleaned. Extra towels should be in the room if this is how things are going to be. On the first day our sink and shower was draining very slowly so I told the front desk. He said he would leave a message for maintenance since it was late. No one ever came by to fix the sink and shower. The hot tub was not hot. The air conditioning did not keep our room cold. I had to keep Turing it off and then back on to start cooling again. It would cool the room for a few hours then it would blow just air so I had to get up about 3 times in the middle of the night to turn the ac off and back on to get the room Cool again.

Service was on point, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was great! Our room was not 100% clean, there were tiny peanut pieces behind the curtain and a few small toothpaste spots on the bathroom mirror and on the hairdryer. During breakfast serving I felt a bit rushed, like I had to say quickly what I wanted. Also it would have been better if I could read the names of the foods somewhere, making easier to order. :)

We reported that AC is not working (not cooling properly) after the first night and no actions were taken. We had to sleep the rest of the nights with the windows open but ended up full mosquito bites. We also reported again after the second night but no actions were taken again. This is a very unprofessional approach and would like to have a compensation for this inconvenience caused

Our family trip to Krakow was 2 days out of our 6 day vacations which would be the only days we would be out of Warsaw for this summer. Unfortunately we were very disappointed by our experience in the hotel. We arrived and the people in reception were stressed and almost seemed as if they didn't want any guests back in the hotel. The lady wanted me to pay parking when I had already included parking in my reservation and it took a while for her to confirm this. We arrived in the room and the coffee machine wasn't working, I tried calling reception but the phone in the room didn't work as well (although it was supposed to be an "executive room") so we decided to report this when we went down to explore the city. We reported it and kindly asked for it to be checked or changed. When we came back, they had replaced the coffee machine but without the back part which is the tank for the water. So we couldn't use it again. On our second day, we went out to explore the city and came back very tired to find that our room hadn't been cleaned. During the check in, in no moment did I or my husband (who is Polish) got any information saying that we needed to inform daily if we wanted our rooms to be cleaned. Also, there wasn't any written information on the room about this. With Coronavirus, I understand that some guests might be against strangers entering their room, but in our case we believe the cleaner it is, the lower the chance of potential infection. When I went down to report this, they told me it was my duty to request this. How can I know this if nobody clearly tells you when you check in? Some minutes later, a cleaning lady came to our room and left towels and took away the trash in the trash bins. Additionally, there was never enough parking spots, so we would come back with the car, grab a ticket at the entrance and had to get out of the car to go and ask for a card in reception so we could actually go out without paying. The system doesn't make sense. A more user friendly option would be to give the guests who pay parking a card that can be used during their whole stay and then you don't have to ask for a card every time you need to go out of the parking. Overall we think the hotel building is well located but the room felt far from what I would consider an "executive room" and as much as I like to have empathy and understand when people are having a hard time at work, the service and the way people treat the customers is just unacceptable. You should make sure to hire people who want to work in the tourism industry, can smile and have the personality that make people feel welcomed and provide clear instructions upon arrival. The only person who was extremely nice, smiled and was looking to help find seating options during the hectic breakfast was an employee that also works in the bar. I, sorry not to remember his name but he was very good with the clients.

Great hotel but breakfast during corona times should be better organised

The hotel has a nice location close to the castle and the river. The old town is also reached within a few minutes. I’m Gold ALL member and I was lucky to get an upgrade to a privileged room with a great view over the river, you could even see the castle. For this I ‘m grateful of course. I’m a loyal customer with Accor because you know you can expect certain standards. I was a little disappointed that my room didn’t look like on the website. Usually when there are renovated and non-renovated rooms, this is written on the website. There was nothing wrong with my room, it was a great room, but for example I missed the rain shower that is advertised on the website. I was not very happy with the way the breakfast was organized during these corona times. It felt more like a canteen in a factory then breakfast in Novotel. The excuse that it is difficult during this pandemic doesn’t fly with me. This is my 7th hotel during this summer. I suggest that the restaurant manager goes to take a look in Mercure Wroclaw Centrum or Mercure Bydgoszcz Sepia where the breakfast is more corona proof and still feels how it should feel.

The hotel is very well located near the castle in Kraków. The hotel has nice installations and they are taking good measures due to COVID-19. Just remember they are not doing the cleaning daily unless you specify this is what you want.
