Disgusting carpets!

Overall the hotel was well situated for my needs and breakfast was excellent. However had I not arrived late in the afternoon and then been going straight back out I would have most certainly asked to change my room. The carpets were nothing short of disgusting and they were also wet. The carpet through the room was filthy with ground in dirt and bleach marks all over.

The room was "Tired". Bathroom sink plug did not work, quilt for the bed was the wrong size and it took 1.5 days to sort this out. Bar and restaurant are good, and very handy being next to the railway station. You moved us from the IBIS, yet could not move the booking on the app and I have not been credited with my Accor points which I will now have to pursue and consume my own time in doing so

Hotel in a good location, had to change rooms cause TV didn’t work but no problem moving. Clean room, plenty of space, good nights sleep, quiet hotel. A few minutes walk from Greenwich high street which has lots of nice restaurants and cafes, close to Cutty Sark and the Uber Clipper which is a fab was to travel around London. Only weird thing is a lamp on the TV table/dressing table was positioned far too close to the TV and could not be moved!!!

My stay was disappointing. There was a lot of dust around the lampshades and the bathroom was not the cleanest. The telephone in my hotel room was not working so I was concerned about being able to contract reception in an emergency.

More of a 3 star Hotel than 4 star. Stains everywhere and overpriced. Although I paid an extra £20 for late check out until 5pm - housekeeping kept turning the lights on and coming into the room from 10am - doesn't seem very safe or secure to me! Housekeeping should have been informed about my late check-out.

We were moved from the Ibis to the Novotel in Greenwich due to the Ibis being closed for 3 months. The location was perfect being beside the station so enabling us to get in and out of central London with ease. Slightly away from the "village" centre, the hotel is never the less well positioned to sample the food, market and historic sights that make Greenwich a fantastic place to visit. The hotel itself is modern and the staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent and a treat to be served at the table rather than having the usual buffet scrum. The rooms are a bit unusual with a toilet in the tiniest "room" next to the door and the bathroom off the main room by the bed. Claustophobics beware, the loo really is miniscule! Not keen on having to walk round the room to wash my hands either! The bathroom had a shower and a sort of short bath that only had a shower attachment in it. The sink unit was a sweeping curve, pretty but easy to get wet. We had to ask for soap and then there was nowhere to put it without it sliding everywhere. The bed was very comfortable, the room the perfect temperature for us (had the window open and a little heat at times). The room was a bit tired overall - faded, stained carpet, marks on the bed linen, broken light cover in the bathroom and the tv needed persuading to get any other channel than BBC1. Not perhaps the 4* room I was expecting but it was fine for our 4 days. We would stay here again.

Next to station which was ideal, staff extremely courteous and helpful.

Overnight stay with my daughter for visit to 02. Perfect location, next to station and not far from 02 by taxi organised by reception. (£12 - £15) each way. Rooms nice size with separate toilet/bath & shower room. Food in restaurant good even though quite limited menu. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Overall would recommend.

The staff were courteous and location excellent but the quality of the pillows and sheets meant a rubbish nights sleep. The pillows were like lumpy cushions and the sheets were rough, certainly not the soft cotton sheets we are used to. I expected but much more and we were disappointed. The bathroom was average with a blocked sink and again I was a bit shocked as I thought the standard and quality of Novotel was higher.

Great location with friendly helpful staff. The hotel is in dire need of an overhaul however. The corridor carpets were badly stained. The rooms were tired. It looks like the original fittings were still in Place since the hotel opened. Great breakfast good selection of drinks in the bar. Once refurbed I’ll definitely come back

check in was granted before your official check in time. 1.00 pm Friendly staff in all early check-in was granted : 1.00h pm We already plan to visit your hotel in march 2022 this was our 2nd stay after our last visit in sept 2021 We experienced a friendly welcome and was granted an early check-in at 1.00h pm We plan t come back by middle of march 2022.

Everything works well. Except the following: Frustrating when you want a coffee or cold drink during the day as the bar area is not staffed. Have to continually go to reception to ask for spomeone to take your order at the bar. I have an old injury & need a couple of extra pillows for my bed. I asked for these at check-in. Iasked again when I left the hotel to go to a meeting & when I returned much later still no pillows. I asked again the next morning & the finaly arrived that afternoon. Not just annoying as I cannot sleep very without them. I have been staying regularly at this hotel since 2008 & they used to have a note on the system that they would put the pillows in the room before I arrived. Just not a serious issue but annoying.

Excellent hotel, near all Greenwich attractions and lots of restaurants and pubs. Easy access from DLR. Excellent service and friendly staff. Clean and felt very safe. COVID restrictions in place were simple to follow.

A good stay let down by the lengthy check in process (only one person on the desk) and outdated rooms which were not cleaned properly (lots of dust and sticky ring marks visible from previous drinks). Breakfast was very good though.

This hotel is very well located for visiting Greenwich. It is beside the rail and DLR station and so is in walking distance of all the tourist attractions in the area. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped, the restaurant is excellent and the staff exemplary.

Part business & part family. 2 x adjoining rooms for 2 nights. Good to excellent overall experience. Some challenges when checking in but these were resolved. Good customer service with Antonio in the breakfast restaurant a stand out.
