« problem with booking portal »

When I made the booking I chose the accor website rather than booking.com However after making payment, the confirmation email showed the wrong date. I called your support number, but the indian made it very clear that this booking was non-refundable, and couldn't accept that the portal was at fault. I called the accor support line here in australia, and tried them 10 times, but couldn't get through. They returned the called about 5 hours later. I rang the hotel directly and they were able to help me instead, but again this took about 4 attempts to get through and I had to leave my details for them to return my call.

I will most definitely be providing feedback to our central reservations team. I am glad that my staff were able to assist you and I do apologise that it took so many attempts to get through. We do endeavour to be available at all times between our openings hours 07:00 - 10:00 and 12:00 - 22:00, however, as we periodically need to assist guests we will turn the phones over to ensure that any guests can leave their information and we can address as soon as we are back. Hotel accommodation was quite good,we stayed in the disabled room and was comfortable enough, the bathroom is big and comfortable. Only complaint was the air vantilator was very noisy. Overall we were satisfied.

« Poor attention to detail »

Sheets were dirty, lightglobe needed changing when I arrived, tax invoice wasn't emailed. When I mentioned the first 2, they were solved quickly and cheerfully. But I haven't had time to chase the tax invoice and it's left a lingering bad impression.

Disappointing- I was very tired checked in about 4 hrs before I went to room in to have “key” room was not cleaned and gad to go back to desk to get another room... no coffee cuos left second day or shampoo—- honestly hiw hard is it to run a budget hotel????

The stay was good - just need more sound proofing for the apartment nearest reception - the entry/exit door clangs shut and the breakfast area can be can also a source of noise (banging cutlery and crockery could be here in the unit)

« Easy, Comfortable with friendly staff at an affordable rate! »

The front counter staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and happy to help. Breakfast the next morning was easy, simple and a nice range of breakfast options. Air conditioning was perfect, and I didn’t set the fire alarm off, so Winning!!

« It was a medioca experience mainly due to the very overweight receptionist . It took him a long time to check us in for some reason »

The Room was ok and clean but the bathroom door was damaged and could not be closed . We booked breakfast and we're downstairs at 7 Am. The receptionist did not got up his chair and opened the gate to enter the room. I had to pull the gate back. The Jogurt dish was not cleaned and I could see what ever people took out the day before was left. The edges had old yogurt. That gives me the impression no food safety. For the coffee I had to ask where it is and the receptionist asked me to put the coffee inside a mug and he was not happy to get up to put the water inside. I do not want to be disrespectful but he was very overweight and everything was to much for him.

Great short stay accommodation when working away and the $1 breakfast was way better than I anticipated - after all some cereal, milk and fruit on top with a good cup of coffee and some jam on toast is a graet starter for the work day

« Helpful staff, quiet room, clean and tidy. »

Our only disappointment... we booked online through the AccorHotels website and received confirmation of payment. However upon arrival we found our booking had been cancelled, not by us, and without notification. Luckily the receptionist on duty, Andrew I believe, was a very helpful man and he was able to get us into a room. We don't know what happened, and after a 7 hour drive would have been very disappointed had we not been able to be accommodated. Our Visa card had adequate funds available, so we are at a loss as to the cause of the problem. That being said, the rest of our stay was most satisfactory, and we will certainly be returning customers. Our thanks again to the staff.

There were huge long black hairs on the towels & in the bathroom which was not a pleasant experience - photo shown to Josh. Breakfast is a let down - I know this is suppose to be revamped but I was told that 3 months ago & I book in almost every month. The extra dollar for breakfast is about all its worth. The bed in my room is STILL NOT anchored. If you sit up in bed it comes away from the wall & if you sit on the side, it tips which is very frightening and a safety hazard. Yet in a previous feedback I was told that all rooms had been checked and all beds anchored. I tried the regular Ibis in Newcastle and was heaps better and actually worth the extra money. Ibis Budget you are slipping in standards which is very disappointing. Staff are as always pleasant to deal with which is why I come back each time but please take this on board as constructive criticism. On my second night there were some very loud guys outside smashing glass. It would be useful to have your after hours phone number to call in the rooms rather than having to go downstairs which could be dangerous.
