- in the bathroom there was a sewer like smell, I think because the tubes had not been used for a long time. - the water pressure in the tap was very low, during the night I drank from the tap and now I believe that this has made me sick. - the ventilation in the room was very poor, while maxed out, it was still unable to keep the room temperature down at a decent temperature to sleep - luckily the window could open, but because my room was right on a rather busy street this has been extremely noisy. The bed was good, but nonetheless it has been a bad night.

Duty Manager over the weekend was really helpful in trying to find a pharmacy which provided a COVID test before my return to UK. He put together a good list.

When there to rest , while I was sleeping,I got wake up by noises . They are working in the hotel. I left the hotel , I didn’t spend the night. I’m so disappointed.

staff outstanding; only comment would be to make sure ppl know that when we are getting nuts from the bar that they will be charged to the room

The online booking service was simple and efficient. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean but need a little maintenance with skirting lose. My only negative comment is not really associated with the hotel itself but we asked reception to book taxi for us on two occasions, which was to our satisfaction. The only problem is the fare paid was double through the hotel than the return trip.

Good experience, as anticipated based on previous visits. Thanks for placing me in a 300-level room, as an injured foot would have made stairs difficult. I looked for the daily news pages (offered in several languages on previous visits) but I suppose it is now expected that everyone reads this on their phone?

Parking limited space , long wall around to reception in driving rain. Room allocated was in poor decorative order On ground floor with a container right outside.

The hotel is modern with ample free parking. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant serves good evening meals and a good buffet breakfast, including hot food and cook it yoyreld waffles, Good value.

Nice location, well kept

The hotel is pretty close to Waterloo town with ample parking space and tiny restaurants around. Downside, its pretty far from Brussels city and cannot commute easily by train or public transport. Also, the room we were in was on top floor, kind of attic and had no good ventilation. We sometimes felt suffocating as there were no normal windows to open!

The Trattoria Pizzeria, which serves the hotel, and is directly connected to it, although independent, is shamefully abysmal, the food is actually very good, but the service is not. The staff are either incompetent or contemptuous. The staff at the hotel were openly recommending other restaurants to their guests and admitting that they were aware of problems. If they cannot get an order right when there are only a couple of diners in there then they should not be running a business. The reaction to the problem was total disregard, and in our experience, this is not the first time. We will not use it again.
