Didn’t meet my expectations

Overall our stay was okay, we liked the location of the hotel. The view from the room was spectacular. But unfortunately there was a number of things that we were not expecting to see in a 4 star hotel. - The lampshade of the ceiling lamp displayed a big collection of dead insects when the light was switched on which even dimmed the light. - The toilet seat was loose. - The shower head had a disgusting black crust as well as the outer frame of the shower. - The outlets for the TV and for the fridge were ripped out of the walls. - The refrigerator was very loud and would turn on and off at regular intervals during the night. - The ventilator in the bathroom was also very loud. Additionally we were not really satisfied with the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet. It was no different from the breakfast in a budget hotel of the Accor chain. Especially the orange juice and the yoghurts were of the lowest quality. The black tea and the hot water resulted in a drink with a strange taste. We also would have preferred real teaspoons to the plastic sticks that were offered. For our last night we had to move to the other 4 star hotel in the city. (This was due to our lack of planning, no fault on your side there.) The experience we had at that place - at almost exactly the same price - convinced us that in the future we would make your competitors our first choice.

The hotel was a great one , but 25 years ago . The breakfast was poor in variety too. The elevator was very noise , and more I’m a Platinum guest , and if I don’t ask , I will not get a superior room , I did not receive a welcome drink , so, unfortunately the general quality was poor .

Poor maintenance in rooms

Overall, the facilities of the Mercure Hotel are in good conditions except the rooms. It was noticeable that painting over the walls is needed also the replacement of the minibar, it was extremely noisy even during nights. The stuffing of the chair and sofa were in poor conditions and the desk was moving a lot so it was extremely difficult to have videoconferences or even type steady in my computer.

I arrived at 18:00, only one person to receive guests, and this one working very slowly. I asked her if there were no otherpeople to attend, and she said yes, but he is taking a rest. Unbelievable !! And a long queue waiting for check in. Old rooms smelling old. I shall not return.

We stayed there as an alternative to Pomerode during a "Festa Pomerana" weekend. It is a 40-minute nice commute to the party. Loved the pool to cool off during these hot summer days. Room air conditioning was also great even with temperatures of 35 degrees or more outside.

It was the second time we stayed at this hotel, and it still a great option. Quiet, confortable and a great value. Only missed the option of double-rooms, as we were travelling with two young girls that had to stay in a different room.

Good hotel, but far from the Mercure standards. There isn't 24 hour room service, the restaurant's menu is very limited, the front desk is not very interested in assisting you, even if you are a Platinum customer (in fact, they do not know you are Platinum). But the hotel is clean, comfortable and charges an honest value for the daily. The breakfast is very good.

Dear Mr Oscar, thanks to publish commets about Mercure Jaraguá do Sul. I´m really sorry about disturbs. We have a special guest service to le club guests, we ofer at cehck-in a cortesy drink, and sometimes, when it is possible, we give an up grade. Our restaurant is open from 6:30AM to 11:00PM, at room service menu we have a dish 24 hour served.
