Our stay at your hotel during the Christmas holidays was very pleasant. We were impressed with and appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and the constant attention to the protocols for COVID. The staff, housekeeping, front desk and restaurant, were more than accommodating and helpful all the time. As we dined in your restaurant both Christmas Eve. and Christmas Day, it would have been appreciated if the chef offered a different menu each day. I do have one question regarding the calculation of QST and GST on some of the restaurant checks, specifically check # 58843, #58965, and # 59131. These were for an extra $5 addition to the pre-paid breakfasts (bacon). 9.975% or 5% does not come up to the amounts shown on the invoice. Also, on check # 59251, the breakfast addition shows $7, but the menu price of bacon is $5. Again, the QST and GST makes no sense. I do not recognize check #59185 as my order. However, interestingly, the calculation of QST and GST are correct on this check. I do recognize that these are very small amounts in comparison to the total bill. But I am puzzled how the QST on $5 becomes $5.69 and the GST on $5 becomes $2.85. I would appreciate a clarification. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. Happy New Year and Regards, Andrew S. Excellent reception, front desk. Room service quick and well presented. The only negative, no slippers in the room and we could not figure out how the tv worked.

The service provided by all staff was top notch, could not have been better! A big thank you to all the staff who have made us feel welcome and have been helpful in all possible ways! Unfortunately, we found the room a little "lacking": the wooden furniture looks tired, the bath tub could be modernized, the beds were "sinking" in the middle and not firm enough (sleep was uncomfortable and resulted in back pain that lasted a full week...), and the bathrobes and towels were rather stiff and unpleasant to the touch. Room service and breakfast were excellent! Thank you for the opportunity to provide meaningful feedback, and all the best for the coming year!

well located and people were very responsive however i still have large charges on my card

so far the only deposit that has been reversed is the one for 1040 which i was asked to do even after i called and negotiated a lower rate of $270 for sunday and monday night. it looks like i was charged twice for those nights, including one that is much higher than $540 plus fees. please reverse so that i have just the saturday night charge at the higher rate and the two days at the lower rate.

The Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile is a five star property located next to McGill University and conveniently located with respect to shopping, dining, and other Montreal attractions (like the McCord Museum and the Fine Arts Museum). The rooms are spacious, well appointed, and well designed. The service is also excellent. We are very grateful for the front desk staff, who took great initiative during our stay to ensure that a package we left for a courier was properly picked up. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Cleanliness and courtesy and the helpfulness of the staff were remarkable. Rooms are spotless and cleaned e dry day. Breakfast service in the dining room was also excellent
