I stay lot of years to this hotel.Now is time to renovate it.Carpets on the corridor are dirty.Rooms are clean.Position is super.Breakfast have to improove.Coffe and capuccino from the automatic machine, not good and they don't serve coffe from the bar machine.Unacceptable.

Great stay at the Mercure Bergamo with great staff on reception and rooms with a balcony, only downside was the very poor breakfast with having to wait for tables to be cleared and ask for everything at the buffett ie No Bread, Plates, Glasses, Bowls, Ham, Cheese....the list goes on. Very poor

3 night business trip. Hotel was clean although the decor in my room #120 could do with a refresh. All the staff were very attentive and polite. The bar area could be better i.e. more open, felt like I was stuck in a corner

« Fairly nice hotel »

Good stay, pleasant staff. Our bed sheets either hadn't been changed or accidentally changed with dirty ones as they were visibly dirty; reception staff arranged for these to be replaced soon after we advised them. Room was decent enough. Complimentary soft drinks were ideal.

« Is not a 4 starts hotel »

Service didn’t correspond to a 4* stars hotel at all. One day they asked us to finish and leave breakfast place before end time , when usually in other hotels propose you to take more food or coffee.. at the end time. First day they didn’t clean rubbish from the previous customer and I needed to ask for it. Regarding decoration , the carpet of corridors is quite old and dirty.

carpet needs to be changed asap. my room has some huge stains all over the floor. it makes the room smelly. the safe was looked and i asked for help that it never came. the shower was broken and did not hold to the post, so we have to take shower holding it.

Overall, the carpet needs to be replaced. My room has stains all over the floor. There was also something extremely smelly, that I guess was coming from the carpet. The safe was looked, I request to be open but anybody came. The shower did not hold to the post so we need to take shower holding it the entire time. I have to say that staff at the reception was always very friendly and willing to help in any occasion.

Location is excellent, just between the central station and city center. The room was OK with good equipment and good size. The breakfast is really good, I liked very much the croissants with cream.

the reception service was very poor , the receptionist does not seem able to accomplish her duty in line with the style of Accor. Assistance to find local transportation was poor and satisfaction for simple service (early breakfast) war vary poor too. Cleanliness of the room was not adequate .

« Overpriced, Not heated »

As I have already informed you, I had booked 2 nights at your hotel for a standard tween room. I thought it was obvious that the reservation was for 2 persons and to my big surprise I saw that it was for one person! To my question how I could add a second person into the same TWEEN room, The answer was 60 euros!! I just wonder if ti is not too high this price for adding a second person in MY TWEEN BED ROOM! It is likely unfair to pay almost 50% the price of the SAME room just because I -as usually- thought that the tween room was fo two persons! (Otherwise why no to prefer a double bed?) Anyway, the two prices written at ACCOR /TRIPADVISOR site were almost the same, so I can’t really understand this overpricing policy! Finally I came to your hotel, I got a room without heating and with a terrible fresh painting smell (when I referred it to the reception the following day they told me that I should inform them in the morning and not in the evening and that there was not any other available room). AND I PAID THIS EXTRA AMOUNT, although the first night the man at the reception (Vittorio) told me that the extra fee would be 40 euros (breakfast included). For all these reasons I am quite unsatisfied by your hotel and I feel very sorry that I have persuaded my friends to change their booking to another hotel and come to yours (six people for three nights) since I had the best opinion on the Mercure Hotels world wide, as I stayed several times at he Ismaelia Mercure hotel...

your hotel was perfect but your breakfast was very disappointing for a breakfast in italy ??? no eggs on plate you can orde rno omelettes no fresh orange juice pancakes thant you can't eat because so dry ne fresh bread no different kind of bread just one cake for everyone no choice of cheese it s not the first time that i was in mercure hotel iwas in marseille in amsterdam you have to adjust this because it s not corresponding to your level hotels

It was OK. For a large multinational hotel it could have been better. Room lock was emanated and fixed with a screw that wasnt secure. Room was stuffy. Breakfast was not as good as usual. Room is tired

« An overall pleasant stay, but... »

We enjoyed the comfort and cleaniness of the room. The receptionist at check-in was very friendly and helpful. We thank you for an overall pleasant stay! But: some things were below expectations. I had contacted the hotel 2 days before arrival to ask for a room towards the street and this was confirmed by Miss Scamarcia. But on arrival, we still received a room towards the back! Also, the bar had a very good drinks menu but almost nothing was available! "Sorry we do not have this drink, sorry we do not have ingredients for that cocktail" etc... I kindly request that you take note of this. Otherwise everything was good and we'll be happy to return.

« Very disappointed by service!! »

Never had seen such service - worst I ever have in Accorhotels! Attitude of hotels staff without any comments! Receptionist was not kind at all, interrupted customers always when we were trying explain him our needs. Staff on breakfast did not clean tables in time, did not full fill buffet by dishes - most of plates were empty before 30 minutes of the end of the breakfast. In addition coffee maсhine permanently got broken so customers have to wait for it, but the staff switched it off forever before 3-4 minutes of breakfast end. About 10 people had no their hot drinks at all and my family as well! The food itself were not fresh. Omlet and melon were out of expire date (have photos)!! Foods were touched by with staff’s bare hands, without gloves! Same situation repeated on the next day. We together with others tried to apply to receptionist but he, as I already mentioned was deaf to the pleas of clients! We made a video of it and after that he intentionally refused in my personal requests about help and support. Late evening was not possible to connect to reception from the room by phone for several times. Clients complained on to their rooms, that they have to changed them because of mud and tobacco smoke. We booked two rooms and one we change due to the same reason - somebody smoked in non-smoking hotel! Another thing was smell of paint. The walls in corridors were freshly stained. My son has an asthma and was afflicted during hole stay! Carpets on the corridor's floors were dirty, we made pictures as well. Another downsides were found but not so meaningful. I am Accor loyalty program over 20 years, have a Golden status, but did not have disrespect for me and my family from Accor hotels! In that case I am insistent on compensation for my family's broken vocation and full refund of purchased service ( for 2 day, 2 rooms). Facts mentioned here I will sent to Accorhotels headquarters also, copy to TripAdvisor and other social nets and travel communities!
