« Worse quality rooms than I was expecting »

I know it’s a budget hotel, but I didn’t realise it would be SO budget. The reception area looked terrible, the building is dark, my ground floor room had a window onto the car park - and there was no sheer blind so people could see straight into my room so I had to have the blind down the whole time. And I arrived an hour early to check in expecting to sit and wait in a nice reception area - but reception is closed from 10am to 12noon! I’ve never heard of that before. So I had to walk down the street and wait in McDonalds. Look, I know all I paid for was a budget experience, but I will definitely never stay there again. I’d prefer to pay an extra $20-30 dollars to actually stay somewhere half decent.

Whilst the room contained a jug, tea and coffee satchets it is a bit hard to make a cuppa with no cups. There was not even a glass to rinse your mouth. Bed had a broken leg, had not been vacuumed under bed. No sanitary bag in bathroom. Had to try and find sugar in breakfast room while staff was sitting on her phone. Orange juice had leaked out all over bench under toaster. Had to share a plate for our toast again because staff too busy on her phone. I accept this is a budget hotel but we had stayed here before and it was very good. Will not stay again

Prior to getting to bed I was (as was the whole floor) my ears were disturbed to deal with a girl/woman screaming at a man re various issues....it rattled on for a while before disappearing downstairs thankfully. However, in the early hours of the morning the whole of the hotel & neighbours were to behold this woman wailing & screaming...accusing this man of trying to choke her. The scene moved down the corridors and outside ...eventually the police arrived to remove both parties. Not a good look...add to that a number of shady characters frequenting the car park. Overall not a good stay....me thinks this place needs a wee bit of attention.

« Great tidy room made just for us. Lovely breakfast for a small cost. »

We had all that we needed for our stay with you. The beds were comfy, in fact, the staff split a king size bed into two single beds. The shower was beautiful and strong flow. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Would stay with you again if ever in that area.

rooms are basic and I understand its a budget motel but.... no hand towel or bath mat in the room, nowhere to put your belongings apart from the floor, air con not working properly so not too happy at all, no receipt issued for my stay which I would assume to be a no brainer
