I asked to check out bit late. They agreed but next morning they just appeared in my room while I was sleeping and asked me to leave in 20 minutes no what. Such a disappointment, disregard and nonsense

I love the convenience of Casula Budget Ibis, at the edge of town, yet close to everything. However, this stay I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. The hallway on the first level was scattered with lolly papers on arrival at 5 pm. When having a shower that evening the show recess had extremely long black hair on the floor, on inspection of the other area in the bathroom, I noted that the hair was all over the floor. I advised the reception of this & showed them photos. I did however forget to mention what room. So I left the gathered hair on toilet paper on the shelf below the sink for the following cleaner to find. I understand it is not a 5-star business, however a clean business it should be.

Not sure why it called a Hotel. It is just a place with a bed to sleep as it lacks many things to be called a hotel. Not even a chair or stool to seat on in the room ? Imagine having some tea while standing !

We book 2 room, 324 and 326. 324 the room is clean but the bathroom door didn't close properly. The window blind doesn't close properly too. 326 the room smells a bit and also window blind doesn't close properly.

Door handle was hanging off bathroom door holding on by the end of one screw, spoke to reception but was not fixed as promised. Carpet dirty when I arrived. Air vent in bathroom not cleaned, really dusty. Woken up by guests shouting at 4.30am, another guest had to come out to tell them to be quiet. Bees nest outside window so could not open window.

Clearly used for emergency housing of homeless, walls dirty, tiles dirty, noisy. Ambulance in the parking lot on departure and lots of noise in the corridor overnight got the impression there was a drug overdose. I got the general feeling of being unsafe.

Quite Surprised with this Hotel

Having never stayed in an Ibis Budget Hotel, I was expecting to compare it to the old Formula One brand. As a basic hotel it was very comfortable, the bed was quite the surprise for comfort, and I had a great sleep. The only issue with the room furniture, I'd prefer a chair, rather than the stool provided, for back support. Two problems with the bathroom (which is much like a cruise ship bathroom) the shower had no shelf to hold toiletries (it was broken) and the light switch was also broken, with the switch pushed into the housing, but still worked. A huge bonus was the amount of power outlets in the room - a total of 6 plugs (5 in the room and 1 in the bathroom) and 2 USB charging points. I didn't have to unpack my powerboard. On the highway, but you could hardly hear the traffic. Of course with Covid restrictions, the dining room isn't available, but there are ample food outlets a short walk away, or use a food delivery service. Would stay here again,

the administration staff were very friendly and made you welcome each day. the house keeping staff went out of their way to make sure our room was clean and tidy. I would also like to thank the housekeeping staff on the 27th October who went our of their way to make sure we had enough toiletries. next time we are in Sydney we will be returning. thank you.

Woox A Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Room had no curtains / window blinds. Must have been removed for repair but not replaced yet when I stayed in the room. Window doesn't seal very well when closed so you still get a bit of traffic noise coming through even when closed. Room was very clean though.
