We stayed at the Ibis Budget at Casula for one night. Whilst I understand the hotel is in the budget category there are some basic things that need to change. The room itself was okay however the window was filthy, the window ledge was covered in muck and what appeared to either mould or residue of some sort. There was also just dirt and grime either on the window and around the window. The lock also was broken with the safety latch thing ripped off. There were mosquitos in the room living on the roof. I assume they either got in there via the aircon or the window not having a complete seal. The aircon was missing the face and was also filthy and had not seemed to be cleaned in quite some time. There was also a fair few cobwebs within the room near the door and other surfaces clearly due to lack of attention to detail when cleaning. Whilst the bathroom was mostly clean the shower curtain was stained and had questionable marks on it, it needed replacement. The hotel itself needs a deep clean including the common areas. The hallways are dimly lit and the tiles in the staircase need a deep clean and a scrub. Even in the customer areas (bar area) it is evident it is in a state of disrepair from led strip lighting which has fallen to large scrape marks in the hallway. The hotel also does not have irons which is fine I guess considering it is a budget hotel – the iron in the communal laundry was on an ironing board that simply just had a dirty stained sheet over it. I have stayed at Ibis and Accor hotels many times and have never had an experience quite like this.

It was good to stay with you. Everything is alright despite failing to show your clients on how to use the card to open the door. You do not need to assume everyone knows. Instead asking your clients if they have used it before or tell them how the card work would be very useful. We nearly spent night outside the door and there was none at reception to show how to use. That is what I consider as a concern. Otherwise, your services are prefect.
