The receptionist (Marina I think), very rude. She doesn’t care about the guests. She spent almost two hours talk politics (against the Brazilian president and bragging a guy called Lula) with her co workers and didn’t anything to pleased the guests , etc, etc…

We stayed there for a few hours to wait for our plane and thank God we didn't need to spend the night. The bed is so uncomfortable and we didn't even have soap to clean our hands!

Good location near the airport. A little expensive considering the simplicity of amenities/room. But accepted my dog which was pretty nice.

Amenities are poor quality like towels and no soap in the bathroom for shower. Not clean as supposed to . Front desk with some employees without any costumer service (rude or cold interaction). No room service and restaurant with really short time to have dinner .

Staff personnel that weren’t undertrained were blunt and serviced me poorly twice: I asked to be awaken and even though they confirmed the waking call, I never got the call and would only wake up thanks to a back up alarm I had set along with the waking call; upon the check in procedure, I was informed the transfer to GRU left at each half-hour by the trainee (who was being supervised by an employee by his side) and when I got to the lobby for the transfer in the morning, it had already left and it only left for the airport at each hour in the half point (4:30, 5:30, 6:30, etc.). Both mistakes could have cost me my flight, which by itself is enough reason not to come back. As if it weren’t enough, the price difference due to checking in without a reservation was significant and the price itself isn’t worth the hotel. I found the lobby ugly; visually polluted and filthy. The concept of a sleek hotel was not well applied here: the fact I have to grab beverages or even food from micro fridges in the reception lobby is simply lazy and overpriced service. Elevator was also dirty. The room was decent and decently clean, but the bed rocked like a cradle and I found the industrial concept uncomfortable; it’s not a cozy room. AC was noisy. Some things like the trash cans did not have garbage bags in them. Not even water in the fridge, so why bother having one? I’m definitely not coming back to Ibis in Guarulhos, and maybe not even any other Ibis, even if I have to pay twice; my stay in this hotel wasn’t worth half of what it costed.

Regarding food and beverage services at the hotel bar, they are aimed at guests who want some quick food or drink, but really ibis hotels do not have room service. The Ibis in Guarulhos is way older then Ibis in other locations. Didn’t like to be in a bedroom with two beds instead of one queen bed. The bedroom smell a bit of mold.

The hotel offers only the basic for you. They doesn't have gym, the breakfast and meals no worth it, for women, the hotel doesn't offer conditioner for the hair.

there is no black pepper inthe restaurant. This hotel has a lot of international travellers and claims to have an international restaurant but there is no pepper not even sachets and not even available on request.

Because Covid-19 the room should have been i sterilized, with a sign that indicates that. Aldo every room should have a kit with alcohol in a gel, sterilized tissues, so in case of tehguest want to do a extra cleaning. The Frigobar should at least have water, so don't need to go around to pick up some.

This hotel has everything you need but no bells and whistles. I stayed there to be close to the airport and also because I frequently stay in IBIS hotels in different parts of the world. This one is definitely the most basic one I have visited. for example, no glass or drinking water in the room, and not totally clean. Service was great and transport to airport smooth and fast.

I regularly use the IBIS Guarulhos Hotel on my transit from SP state Brazil back to Australia. The Ibis is about 20 minutes in a taxi to the international airport depending on the time of day. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean and are very quiet for resting. The restaurant is spacious with a good variety of food available. Good value for money for the transiting passengers. Accor discounts apply.

I've been staying in other Hibis units, so I can compare. Hibis Guarulhos: Hotel well situated, with excellent attendants, but with some bad details: Reception with old and worn furniture, equipment of the room in need of maintenance, for being worn and malfunctioning. First room offered, no conditions of use, because it was smelling of cigarette. Mattress, deformed and old air conditioning, with only 3 speed options and misdirected, as the air bounces off the wall and hits the people in bed, causing cold. Breakfast poor and very expensive for what is offered.

A good hotel for a night sleep with a very good breakfast next morning (this was my specific need after a long flight ended in the late afternoon and before another flight next late morning). Besides: clean facilities; comfortable bed & shower; friendly and effective team to support the stay. Affordable price (not exactly a cheap hotel).
