The hotel staff were the best of the stay. All very friendly and helpful. The room is nothing special but nice, the bathroom was the worst part of the room. It's not THAT bad but it looked improvised. Now the biggest gripe is the breakfast. It is basic at best, and it doesn't justify its price. All and all it was not a bad experience but I can't say that I would recommend it.

I know it is an Ibis, which is in the low tier of Accor, but there are things that can be easily improved to make the experience a bit better. Here are some hints for the improvement part: 1. Carpets on the rooms so that we don't put our feet directly on the floor when waking up - this is cheap in Ikea! 2. An extra trash bin in the room (not only in the WC!) - this one is cheap on Ikea too! 3. Ask the cleaning personnel to better clean the floor (we can't see the dirt/dust on the floor only because the color pattern is dark and grey... but the dust is there because I could see it on a shirt that had fallen to the ground by chance!!!) 4. To have amenity kits available for purchase would be a great idea (with a pair of slippers, a face-towel, and eventually a robe!) On the good part, I can say: 1. The location is not bad. 2. The staff seemed nice and welcoming. 3. The breakfast was good. 4. The overall hotel facilities we pleasant (and there is a renovation taking place - but I didn't hear any noise, which was great!)

I love ibis, the breakfast, lounges etc. But at Alfragide,, when I open the door of the bathroom, came a horrible putrid smell ! I was going to ask to change but gave a chance until next morning because it was very late . I opened the window and let the bathroom and room freshen up. Next day it was ok. I read in the reviews, someone had the same problem. I suggest 2 things that could solve this problem : first put a strong antiseptic (like bleach in the sink, drain of the shower and loo. Second , before the guest come, someone could go first and fresh the room opening the window and all the doors to let a draft come in.

As always a Good Reception from the staff I've been with this hotal since 2017, but this last stay I was disappointed with the new decoration done. As for my purposes and many times need to work on a computer , a small round table isnt suficient, the prevous desk, near the windo and from wall to wall was ideal to work with a computer and having any necessary papers on the side ; now with a round table (that is small( , its impossible to do so. Also the raquet to put cloths is very unpratical, with a big lugage I have to put it on the floor , because the suport of the raques is to small My Congradulations to the Decoration Team and Management for the unpratical decoration ! As a frequent client I just may have to seek another hotel for future stays, its a pitty due to like the hotel location. Who knows with a more pratical decoration in a few years time I may return
