This was our third stay and it gets better every time. We had adjoining rooms and they had been refurbished. Everything we asked for and more. Good value and wonderful stay. All stay were very good and the quality of the refurbishment was very good. We will definitely stay here again.

No service offered with bags No service available in the restaurant Room service ordered - one of the two meals unacceptable

Dear Michelle Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations in some areas. At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. We acknowledge your comments about assistance with your bags and the restaurant offering at the moment. We apologise that these things impacted on your stay with us. We have at times had to reduce the service offered in the evenings by not serving our a la carte menu and resorting to a very limited menu in the bar - like most food and beverage businesses this has been due to the amount of flu and Covid amongst the team either in the kitchen or the wait staff. Other meal periods such as breakfast have largely continued without too many changes as we understand that the alternatives outside of the hotel are limited. Similar issues have impacted most restaurants and many other businesses like the airlines all around the country. This is less than ideal for our guests or for us and we continue to try to be able to offer full service but at times this has been impossible. We are sorry you were not offered assistance with your bags - while there will not always be a porter available it would be normal for us to offer assistance. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Regards Jim Moore General Manager

Shocking stay Got no sleep from being so close to the lift Really disappointed and ruined our holiday being so tired

At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. We acknowledge your comment about being close to the lift and this impacting your sleep. We get very few comments about this noise and we understand the importance of getting a good nights sleep. We apologise that this impacted your experience with us. Having stayed for 3 nights in this room there is no mention as to whether this issue was raised with our Duty Manager at any time. It is their role to over come any issues that our guests face and try to resolve these with the aim of ensuring our guests have a great stay with us. If you are staying at any of our hotels and have any issues please do reach out to the team. On a positive note it was great to see that you marked all of the other experiences that you had as extremely positive so it does appear you enjoyed your time which is good.
