« Significant noise and a bathroom with unpeasant smell »

I stayed during a major exhibition, and therefore paid over €300 for the first night of my stay, over a €100 for the second night, and in my opnion the rate for the thrird night of my stay was more appropriate for a Room whose door is so thin that the other guests in the bar are easily heard. Additionally, the bathroom (I suspect the drain in the shower) had a *very* unpleasnt smell. This meant I was kept awake from the noise of other guests until 2am in the morning, was woken up by the cleaner vacumming at 05:30am, and had to suffer the smell for the duration of my stay. It shoudl not be my responsibility as the guest to inform the hotel that there is a significant problem that the housekeeping should be able to easily identify.

I could stay with my Family for one night at this hotel and I can just Point out that we got excellent Service, Right from the check-in, during the stay at the bar, the breakfast was great as well the check-out.

« Unhappy staff in a hotel not communicating towards the customers »

Arrived in the hotel on friday 1st November, not feeling welcome by the receptionist on duty at 16h15, next morning no smiling staff in the breakfast area nor the receptionist. In the evening very nice receptionist named Gloria and very helpful; In the restaurant the only nice person and smiling was an elderly blond woman. No restaurant nor bar open for a drink or food in the evening!! due to lack of booking, restaurant closed without informing the customer prior arrival!! message to the general manager of the hotel (Sven Schultz) and the restaurant manager (Patrick Winter): Inform your customers prior arrival to tell them your restaurant nor the bar will not be functioning during their stay!!!

Due to the high temperature within the week in the region, the absence of air conditioning was a bit unfavorable. Except for that point, the room is comfortable enough. The restaurant of the hotel was also not open in the period, it is fortunate that there is a restaurant in the Gasthaus close to the hotel.

Stay was quite ok. What I'd suggest is not to have the heating turned on when there is 26 degrees. Second thing which I propose to change is the fact, that the staff in the restaurant had quite "longer times" in the drink delivery/ordering another one because the restaurant was quite full. It is not their fault. They were doing their best. Just saying the experience that there is a space for improve. Third thing was that there was cigarette smell in the room, but after a while with opened window everything was OK. In the end the non-working WiFi was also not good and I had to use my mobile hot-spot instead.

Hotel stay close to Duesseldorf Airport for reasonable cost - no extra parking charges. Excellent breakfast I very much enjoyed the huge sweet cherries - great idea. On the downside: I came as Accor Platinum Member - almost no extra advantage beside of a welcome drink. The internet was down for the entire stay (two day) - no compensation for this. The hotel has no aircondition in the rooms - be prepared for sweating in the summer. The minibar is locked - you have to ask for a key.

Had to order bath towels and slippers and shampoo and water as all were missing on our last night there. Ask we were asked to go downstairs and collect these rather then have them taken to us. Beds had tiny hairs on them. Not the cleanest of hotel rooms. Coffee machine in the room had no decaf option. Some staff were nice others not welcoming at reception. I also told reception how I was upset about not having the towels etc in the room and having to ring them 3 x for different things missing in the room. And staff did not even apologise just told me to come down to get it.

Hi, I have staying in Accor Hotels since many years. This time I had completely disappointing stay. I booked 3 rooms via app with high rate and payment at hotel and after arriving at hotel they started offer us 2 rooms and we had to convince them for 30 mins to give us 3 rooms as per booking and then I paid the charge upfront. The rooms were not up to the mark and also bad smells were coming. Then while checking out they asked me to pay higher charges for room and also in addition they charge us breakfast for 3 rooms where as only 1 guest took break others didn’t. There is not point of control.. totally unprofessional attitude by the reception stuffs. Unbelievable how that can be service for a 4 star hotel(as they proclaimed to be 4 star). I will surely never be using this hotel in future.

When I wanted to book by phone, because I couldn’t access with my membership card, I was talking with your your front desk Mrs Klatte and I explained her said. Then she offered me a different rate and and after I wanted still to ask her something she asked me either you to book for this rate or not and then she just hung off. I m traveling a lot but something like that happened never before I have booked a hotel room.
