« Superb spa, Delicious breakfast »

Wonderful location with super easy access to public transpo (downtown and airport). Gym is sufficient but nothing great. On the flip-side, the pool/spa area for relaxation after a long day is simply fantastic - just remember that European/German spa culture involves your birthday suit. Rooms are not large but comfortable enough. Breakfast is wonderful.

« Very good stay »

Very good stay, the overall experience has been really good, as always. Every time that I have to go to to Stuttgart, the Pullman is a must for me because it allow me to get a great service, and relax myself with the SPA. Restaurant was used to be excellent, but I have to say that this time the level wasn't the same; I was with other 4 colleagues, we had to spend 2 hours to have 1 main each and 1 dessert.. Way too much.

« 60 day stay made pleasant »

Moved to Germany and stayed at Pullman with family and two dogs until house was ready. (We upgraded to a "Suite" and it was well worth it.) All staff members were super nice and supportive. Lots of restaurants close by for meals. (We only at breakfast at the hotel.) Buses, taxis, and trains are just a few steps outside the hotel entrance. Super happy with the stay we had there.

« Very happy with the Pullman Fontana »

We loved staying at the Pullman Fontana as much as we did 3 years prior. The breakfast is superb, friendly staff, nice rooms (though I much prefer the deluxe room for more space when you have lots of luggage), clean and relaxing pool/sauna area, and great location near public transportation options (S-Bahn, bus, taxi). The only downside from our previous experience is that there was not a laundry service other than dry cleaning. You can now purchase tokens to do laundry yourself but with only one unit, it can be hard to find a time when it is free. Room service options are okay but not as good as the restaurant quality and selection.

« Good hotel with friendly staff. Needs to fix some quality of life issues. »

I had a good time during my stay. The staff was the most remarkable part of my visit. Very friendly and helpful. I did have some issues with the internet and WiFi not being available or disruptive. I had a number of power outages in my room. The lack of A/C took some getting used to and surprised me for a 4-star hotel. My bathroom was quite small and the shower was arranged in a way that I often would bump into the hot water side of the faucet and get a painful burning. Since I was there for quite a while, I used the laundry facilities and that was difficult because I only had a single stackable washer/dryer available for the entire hotel. During a power outage, the staff took my laundry and ran it through their machines and it came back to me folded, which was very considerate. My experience is seen through the lens of hotels in the United States. A Holiday Inn Express (2 Star hotel) has amenities that were equal to or better in many of these issues for me. The extra amenities such as the spa, restaurant, and bar were nice to have available, but I must confess, I only used the breakfast and swimming pool. Overall, I'd be happy to stay again and hopefully I will have a better room/experience.

« Mixed Experience. »

A business hotel with no special experience. Check in fast. Appearence - used and worn (level 7). Lift indicator lights not working, in the busy hours mornings there are too few lifts for too many people - take a long time to get access. Room, select between 2 pillows, - generally clean and ok, Bathroom - Lipstick stain on toilet cover. Mixer Tap on Shower difficult to move and temperature setting takes a while. Mixer Tap on sink must be heavily pusshed down to stop water. Issues reported to front desk - but housekeeping should have noticed this - and not guests. Breakfast - so far okay - but scrambled eggs ? - The scrambled egg seem to be made from prepared liquid egg instead of fresh eggs. looked like yellow poppyseed and tasted bad. Yuck. A stay for a night is okay but I will opt out breakfast.

« Service was excellent but 2 days without WiFi in my room made business frustrating. »

« High Price, low quality, nice service »

The air condition was not able to cool down the room, although it was set to 10°C. It was impossible to get the heat out of the room. The bathroom is old and not very practical. This shower-bath-combination only leads to a flooded bath room, when you take a shower. I don't know, why so many hotel stick to this stupid small bath tub, instead of just build in a nice shower, which is for most of the hotel guests absolutely sufficient. It seems that the room was kind of renovated, but the bath and some walls were forgotten. The TV is a joke and not what I expect when I get a room for 150 €. Even in some B&Bs or 3 star hotels, you have bigger and more modern TVs. The rooms was smelling like smoke. It seems that the 6th floor was a smoking level before renovation. So the renovation failed, as the smell is still in the room. The prizes in the bar, restaurant and minibar are ridiculous. 3,50 € for 0,2l Coke? That means 17,50 € per liter? The burger was partly cold, the bread is the same cheap bread, which you can buy for 0,99€ for a pack of 4 at the supermarket, from the taste and structure, the patty was also coming from the freezer. I don't know, why the burger then is 16 times the prize of McDonalds. Only positive aspects are the service and the breakfast. The employees are very friendly and motivated.

With regards to the air condition, we do admit that we were facing an underperformance of our AC in the past. In order to improve the service for our guests concerning AC we decided to switch to a brand-new AC system that had been installed in 2018. With the system going live we actually experience the AC on a premium level. However, varying factors can affect the AC in single rooms and it is most concerning to read about your experience. I have shared your concerns with our Maintenance team for solving the issues and fortunately, in the meanwhile we fixed the problem. I do apologize, that due to this, your recent stay was not as relaxing as it should be. I regret that we do not come true with your expectations concerning your room. You can be sure that I have instantly forwarded your comment to the appropriate department and hopefully will find a solution in the near future for we are in the process of renovating our rooms. Although we fell short of meeting your expectations during your past stay, I hope you will consider Pullman Stuttgart Fontana next week again so that we can better deliver upon the guest experience you deserve. « The staff were excellent. The only complaint is that the rooms really need to be cleaned better, there is an extreme amount of dust especially on the vents. »

Love the staff, very welcoming and went out of their way to help me when I needed help. The housekeeping sometimes didn't do a very good job and would not leave soaps and towels often. Housekeeping needs to clean better, the room is pretty dirty. The dust on the vents and on the carpet going against the wall is pretty disgusting. Also, there is mold in shower.

« I stay in a lot of hotels and Pullman Stuttgart was one of the best. »

Coming from abroad, the whole reservation process and check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful as was the wait staff in the lobby bar.
