Very friendly and welcoming staff especially Lorena, Marcello and Gorgo. Unfortunately I wasn’t entirely happy with the room service. In three days room wasn’t cleaned at all. Bathroom sink was blocked and repaired the day after. Carpet needs to be properly cleaned, smell coming form it was really unpleasant. This is not a complaint, I’m just describing my experience. I understand that these days are difficult for everyone.

In regards to the blocked think, I would like to believe that we did our best to rectify the issue as soon as possible and hopefully it didn't cause you too much discomfort. We are looking into your comments about the carpet and we will take the necessary action. Your feedback about our staff members is much appreciated, and have been shared with the Team during our meeting. I can only hope you will give us another chance in the near future when life brings you back to Reading and we will be able to provide a more enjoyable and hassle free stay. Service personnel was very kind and polite for us when we arrived and when we were in self isolation. They were very prepared for such self isolation status and they provided free of charge extra one room for our online meetings, that was grate. Moreover, they served us instantly for our online meal orders.

Regular guest, this time a few disappointing factors which we highlighted at the time. Our bathroom was filthy, with very evident pools of water that had been left to dry, not just the odd water Mark's and the W.C unfortunately had plenty of mini "brown stains" across walls and light switch. This is disgraceful. Towels feel as if they are also being washed in house to save costs, rock solid like sand paper. Also I believe the hotel is being used as a permanent residence for those waiting on permanent accommodation which is fantastic, but this needs to be managed securely, possibly enforce a no drugs policy our entire level could get you high as a kite. My last gripe was my breakfast was a little late most mornings and wong on occasion. These issues are all forgivable because the team handled everything superbly, the dinner room room service was delicious. I will stay again as my issues are a one off.

The whole experience was excellent. The bed was a bit hard for me, however I was very happy with my lovely quiet stay. Only thing which was hard work was going down from 8th floor to ask for anything, however I was very happy

Im very happy with the service of the hotel general everything, the rooms are amazing, 1st class, clean, quiet and the breakfast in the morning very good. The only thing that i dont like is that the breakfast is not included, is seperate the price for the room and seperate the price of the breakfast.With is im not happy at all

My daughter & I had a overnight stay, considering the current circumstances we were greeted by a friendly member of staff, the hotel felt safe & Covid compliant. We were asked if we would like to book in at the swimming pool. I wasn’t offered a welcome drink but this was understandable under the circumstances we now find ourselves in. The room was clean & All in all a good stay.

The staff are friendly and polite, my room was on the tenth floor but it was clean , looked recently decorated and I have already recommended the hotel to a number of friends.

Great location wonderful friendly staff , however our room was situated right next to the lift shaft which wasn’t so ideal. They did offer to move us but it was too late. But we will definitely stay with you again as we loved the staff and location. Novotel was a first time for us we will stay again.

Beautiful place, well presented,great furniture's in the hall. The staff was great, all people I dealt with. From Federica at the reception to the restaurant staff and the other people at the desk. The room was spacious and the view great. The bed super comfy. The only problem was that the air vent in my room was very noisy and could not sleep well. I needed a good sleep for the following day and this was really bad for me. The switch in my room to turn it off or decrease the speed did not work. Covid measures well implemented I felt super safe. The food was good, tasty and well presented. Overall price for money is good, will definitely come back here next time in town next month. Will recommend to others too.
