I've stayed here many times. Always a pleasant and helpful staff. Beds always give a great sleep and have a variety of pillows to suit different people. This is rare nowadays. Location is prime and free from disturbing noises day or night. Wish I was wealthier to stay there more often. Thank you for continued excellence!

« not the standard convinience that I expected »

I was given two rooms that they said whas non smoking rooms. They said they were smoking rooms but have been six months changed to be non smoking rooms. but the smells remains. I was given other non smoking room, but turn out that the the toilet door was not functioning well. it can not be locked. a few times I called the front desk and no one answered.

The hotel location is good. But the condition specially the bathroom was very poor. The shower leaking and the sanitair also in bad condition. The parquete floor need to replace

The receptionist helpfull but not nice,,his gesture seems that we dont hv money to stay at the hotel, the toilet clean but it's hard to use the shower and the bath tub is broken although it's not in serius condition

This is good hotel but needs improvement some. Last week I took twin bed, felt not comfortable on matras. and another past two weeks, also stay in other room, no tooth brush in rhe room.. it's never happened before.

Semarang became the last city when I was on duty on the island of Java. i found friendly and good service in this hotel. as a loyalty member I feel very noticed. when checking in until checking out. the room was comfortable and i felt like home. I will visit this hotel again if I visit Semarang.

« Old but clean hotel »

in our opinion as family; - your interior room is quite old, we cant enjoy it. It is really clean but pls thing of re-decor, its quiet far from the picture shown on web - the pillow is not standard hotel with 4 star :( - less wire plug in the room - the swimming pool is small, has no view except walls, and its 140cm not safe with 8yo+ kids. the jacuzzi for my little one also not working when I was there.

This hotel is good stay with family, there are a big mall in Semarang just across the hotel and many local food around , Great swimming pool, my son love and enjoy at pool, had relax time with the family, The staff also very helpful, they also provide good food

« Is it real Accor? »

Accor is our global account, my company (HQ is Paris, I have been 30years in here) always use Accor as primary option. After several times stay in Novotel Semarang, last week I tried with family to enjoy this hotel. Unfortunately FO very bad , ms Mg asked me (at 6pm) to wait for a while due to non-smooking room still not ready (there is "one room ready" but she said that the Air Cond above the room still be repaired by technician. After 2 hours, she never come back to me, and I went to FO again (Ms Mg replaced by Ms JJ), she said that Ms Mg did not informed her about preparation of my non-smooking room. She polite, she offering me updgrade room (to executive room), as the promised room by Ms Mg not ready yet ( after more that 2 hours and at 8 PM!!!). Finally I got the room , surprising me : its smooking room (at least we smell it), and the room is not executive. Our family will not have plan to stay in this hotel again, sorry.

« Short Weekend to Semarang »

We had one night stay at Novotel Semarang. The hotel location is located in a very strategic location, near to some city landmarks such as Kota Tua and Lawang Sewu. The hotel room need some improvement. The flooring in our room was shrieking every time we walk on it.
