Not a long stopover, our room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Unfortunately breakfast stops at 9am weekdays and we were not informed.

Lovely old building.

I enjoyed my stay .The staff were very friendly , the rooms were comfortable , and they served a very good buffet breakfast .The location is an easy 20 minute walk from The CBD .No problem , unless it's rainy .Public transport is close , but VERY infrequent on weekends .

Good location and we usually get an upgrade to a King Bed.

A pleasant garden setting in a historic building. Rooms are large. Bathrooms very generous as well. The Bistro…Ulms ??… excellent….good menu options for a relaxing casual dinner.

1 the floors (carpet) look like they have not had a vacum or dryclean since the hotel was opened 2 I went away for the weekend expecting to have a good time and good experience nice hotel, nice food the only nice was I was with my wife, sister and brother-in-law 3 if I wanted to go to a pub I would have done so, the bistro (good food) but was over ridden by the fact that there was a bar and tab in the same area, with exceptionally noisey patrons 4 every door leading outside was in very disrepair needing paint, the wood was exposed in a lot of places 5 the furniture in the room (204) was in need of attention, I understand about old charm but not when ther wood is chipped and bear wood exposed where the dark stain should 6 I did try to sit in the court yard off my room but could not stand looking at the tree uprooting the pavers All in all I cant give a recommendation to friends and family to stay, I originally booked knowing the history of the hotel, never stayed there before.
