Definitely the worst ibis I have been to. - Location is advertised as Alexanderplatz but its about a 15 minute walk from there. It takes longer than you think to leave the hotel: next to the hotel is a massive intersection which takes at least 5 minutes just to cross every time. - Area surrounding the hotel is soulless, boring, and pedestrian-hostile. - Room decor is very dated, feels like a hospital room, and is small (even for European standards) - None of my credit cards worked at the check in (they worked everywhere else I used them across 3 countries in central Europe, so it wasn’t my fault). There’s clearly something wrong with their credit card setup. When I asked if they took American Express, the man who was checking me said “let’s see”. Didn’t inspire confidence. My Mastercard didn’t work either, nor my Visa Debit. I had to walk 10 minutes to the Deutschebank to get cash just to check in (first time I’ve paid for a hotel with cash in my life!). On the other hand, there were some good things: - Room was clean - It was convenient that I could buy snacks and drinks in the lobby, this partially made up for the inconvenient location (there were no other shops around). - Very low price (but you get what you pay for) Strongly suggest to travellers to go to the ibis in Mitte at Rosenthaler Platz instead.

well located, near to alexanderplatz, easy to do shoppisng and to commute, easy to arrive or depart from/to Airport through S9, near to Edeka

I had a very quiet and pleasant stay. The bathroom was a bit small and there was no hairdryer. However, I would choose Ibis Budget again.

Everything was clean and tidy, the rooms were warm, the staff was very polite and helpful in every way. The internet connection was great, which was very important to us, because we work remote. The location is perfect, just a short bus drive to the biggest sightseeing attractions.

In general term I got for what a paid, just a minor details: - we were 2 people but I arrived first and in reception didn't let me in because the covid certificate of my partner. - the sink was blocked or not clean, water didn't flow normally. - last day the code of the room didn't work.

Overall stay is good good location and also affordable price for person who wants a budget hotel within the city.

rooms could have a cupboard and a place to keep the suitcase. a little vit cleaner. otherwise no complaint.

the hotel room is very basic. I would have appreciated an USB port to charge phone battery.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was very powerful. The room had good lighting and ventilation. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was good and varied. The free WiFi was excellent, no need to upgrade to premium. The only downside was the location of the hotel, on the main road where police sirens were sounding all night. The windows had decent soundproofing but we had it open due to how warm it was overnight - some earplugs solved this though.

We loved the hotel location (10 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz), its cleanliness, the helpful staff, the parking facility, and the nice restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast (for 7,50€) was a great way to start the day.

The hotel is in an excellent position near Alexanderplatz. Tram station directly outside hotel to get you all over Berlin. Basic rooms but very clean and well looked after. Staff were lovely. At reception you could purchase soft, hot and alcoholic drinks - all reasonably priced. You could even buy a pizza and cook it in the microwave! Only one tiny little complaint was that the bed was very hard! Would definitely stay here again - well worth the money.

Perfectly located, close to Alexanderplatz and all transport, walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions, clean, brilliant shower and friendly staff. 3rd time staying here and I will still come back

Everything is user-friendly in this hotel except mattresses - they are just too hard. Other than that this hotel is just good value for money.Location is perfect, the room is basic but enough. So, if your stay is no longer than 1-2 nights - this is the place for you.

Nice design. Nice and big rooms. Comfortable bed. Polite staff. Near to public transportation. Near to Alexanderplatz.The breakfast could have more variety. It is a great choice to stay in this hotel.I recommend this hotel.
