Nice location and friendly staff. Good breakfast but stuff repeats itself No view; no pot and complementary teas. No tea for breakfast. Basic room with little amenities (it took me 15 minutes to open a small plastic bag with shampoo) and bad acoustics.

Nice breakfast, but same stuff all the time. No pot and teas in the room. No tea for breakfast as well. Staff is very friendly (Rafael). Rooms are very simple with bad acoustics, no view. Overall just OK.

I'd feel perfect if the TV were set on a nature channel or documentary and/or without sound (with subtitles), this would be more in accordance with the hotel level and context as well as a more ambient kind of music or even no music Employees were very nice Clean Comfortable Central

When I arrived at the hotel, after a long trip, I was welcomed and promptly helped by Andressa at the front desk. At breakfast next morning I was nicely served by Andreza. The hotel location is a nice plus, shadowed only by the hotel's lack of its own parking.

The hotel is well located and the staff is friendly. However, the rooms need improvement. The bed clothes looked grimy (just like the white walls) and they were too loose in the matress, so that they could easily reveal it. The curtains were dirty and the furniture in general had some peeling parts. Finally, the bethroom had mold due to humidity.

the staff at the desk were very efficient ,polite and friendly.The chambermaids were also nice and respectful and responded promptly when I requested that my room be cleaned.However, I have still to adjust to the new dining/buffet area.I think it’s too open compared to the configuration of the old one which has more privacy and warmth.note:I stayed here 5 times in the past.

The room was pretty worn-out, the door didn't work well and we had to force them to close, shower door was letting most of the water out of the cabin, AC and fridge worked well, the room was mostly clean, staff was okay, but overworked, would be better to have more staff on shift

Located downtown, very close to the places we had to visit. Room was clean, air-conditioning perfect. Does not have parking service, but there is a private facility in the same block with decent price. Attentive, helpful and kind staff.

Well located to visit the old center (lapa, santa teresa, centro velho). The staff is very attentive and helpful. As it was a family travel we had 2 rooms, both were clean but very old amenities. The breakfast was ok but we do not recommend the lunch/dinner buffet.

Staff was very disorganized, resulting in long wait time for check-in, check-out, restaurant, payment, etc. Lack of maintenance of site, resulting in broken doors, non-functional elevators. Experience is not at par with other Ibis and Ibis Budget units and with what I expect of an Ibis family hotel.

1. Room maintenance: a black color tape next to the main door lock , door is not black color, looks like labeling my room is different, but found out the door paint is peel off so put a 10 cm black tape to cover. Very brilliant. Shower room door cannot close fully since the floor is cracked. 2. Efficiency: I would like to extend my room for one night, but asked Front desk the price is higher than I booked in Expedia, so I extended my booking in Expedia, had to wait for 15 mins for renewal the room key, but the night before I already informed I will extend and with the confirmation code, can this proceed being more faster 3. Hosuekeeping/room assignment : no vacuum properly , towel texture too rough, and the night that I extended and back found out room only take out towels and clearing trash, rest did not touch, I am confused why room only clean practically and expecting answer back but until I check out, still no one answe me, system showed it is clean and I was only offered to change room or to clean the room right away at 8am on the night I need to sleep earlier for my tommorrow early morning bus 4. Room design: cannot find how to call down to service center or front desk extension , have to go down with pajama (very embrassing) and to queue to ask for towels 5. Neighborhood: horrible street in Rio I stay in south America for 2 months in all 3 star hotel , I really doubt about what is 3 star hotel only in this ibis. I just want an answer why the room just clean little and left it?

As this hotel (Ibis Rio de Janeiro Centro) is in downtown area, the apartment is really noisy. The windows should be stronger .
