« Great and clean hotel far away from the city center »

As a Accor Gold-card-member , i had to insist and tell them I knew they had availabilities for the suites. Then suddenly they gave me the upgrade. It's always a problem i Spain, you had to demands for your rights as a loyal guest

« Worst Novotel experience »

I stayed in the Novotel chain several times, and this was my worst experience. The gym is a joke - old equipment, the room itself is very small. Room quality was like a cheap motel - water in the sink was not going away, there was an extra door left from the previous room layout, the elevator button was not installed correctly and was hanging out on the cords. Taking into account the price - it was a very very poor experience. Now the whole Novotel chain will be at the bottom of my list, even though I have a silver status in its loyalty program.

« Constantly satisfying niveau - just one small pain point »

I am a regular guest in your house and enjoy the comfort and excellent breakfast. The view from rooftop is always a joy. I was asking myself, why you moved the Gymn from the rooftop to a bleak and dark place in the basement ? Pls remove it back to the top of the building.

« Good but with minor issues »

Good clean and modern hotel and the staff are all friendly and helpful. A few issues included not being upgraded automatically despite being a gold member, I had to ask to be upgraded after I check there were rooms available and they then placed us in a suite at no extra cost. Another was not being able to use points to settle the bill, I had 6000 points to use but the computer would only accept 2000 so this cost me an additional 80 euros to settle the bill. The jacuzzi on the roof wasn’t working (no water in it) which was disappointing as this was a reason we chose this hotel. The hotel staff are all great and cannot do enough for you though, rooms clean but a little tired. In the suite we had a shelf in the shower hanging off and the curling was painted but only half of it. There were flowers in the bathroom which were ok on day 1 but by day 3 smelt awful and didn’t get replaced. I would go again but would also expect these issues ironing out before I do.

The bathroom smelled. Despite repetitive telling and visits from you it wasn't solved. Since I had a very hectic agenda I really hoped you would solve it.

We booked out on 19/11, Joan was in hospital and Albert returned to collect our bags. He left behind a small toilet bag with Joan’s medication, hearing aide batteries, etc. We returned on 21/11 for 1 night to find the toilet bag had not been handed in. Very disappointing.

« Wonderful stay »

This was my third time at the hotel and I had a great time again. The welcome at the reception desk was particularly good. It was a bit cool to use the rooftop bar, but the views lured us up there for a short while and the team were very friendly and efficient. I will undoubtedly stay there again ahead of my next cruise.

We stayed here twice this holiday with one day's interruption. The views of wonderful Barcelona were, of course, fantastic and the room was extremely comfortable after a really difficult train journey from the UK.

Really enjoyed staying at your hotel. My request for a city view was granted which made it a more enjoyable stay. The delivery of water bottle and chocolates to the room was a nice touch. Will definitely stay again.

« One-week stay »

It was not my first visit to this Novotel, but it was the longest. When I arrived I was personally welcomed by Maria, who thanked me for my fidelity to the Accor hotels. I really appreciated this welcome. I was awarded with an upgrade room, which was also very much appreciated. Having a little trouble with one feet, I finally spent a lot of time in my room, so the comfort was really a plus for my stay. Very nice Buffet Breakfast every morning. The day of my departure, I asked to keep my room a couple of hours after the check-out time, and my request was again accepted. Overall, it was a perfect visit and I have only good things to report with my hotel stay. Many thanks !
